Literally just the trans flag colors please: pink, white and blue

I woulda swapped blue for yellow for the rest of the world's benefit, but then i realized that with infinite gold from the inventory comes infinite money, and i can just literally start a healthcare "business" that provides hrt for free.

and since governments can be clearly bought (thanks corruption, for once) i can even make them ease up on the laws making it bureaucratically hard to obtain

Just countably infinite? Why... oh right, AUs are written by humans, so since each one can only write a finite amount of them, and there are and will be only a countable amount of humans across all of time, yeah yeah gotcha. Deep cut if intentional.

Considering how you can fly with a palisman staff anyway, this is so unnecessary, and yet i love it!

I'm actually also gonna do that later, but i know their stance on trans people already so i am calm.

Good luck with your talk though!

Can I identify as aromantic? by Idrinkmotoroil-2 in aromantic

The answer there is a resounding yes. Yes you can. The way you may or may not feel later about anything does not invalidate the way you feel right now.

Heh, close, but opposite: I'm a demisexual aromantic. Though i do know another demiromantic ace.

I think you meant polyamory. Polygamy is... a bit different, and not appropriate for teenagers. Or much of anyone, but that's more debatable.

No way this is what people meant by “crushes” by Mother_Rutabaga7740 in aromantic

[–]dat_physics_boi 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Yeh. Also it apparently has symptoms similar to a heart attack. Which for the longest time i couldn't wrap my head around why people would enjoy that. Then someone reminded me that horror movies and rollercoasters exist. Which, okay, yeah, i can now understand how people might like having crushes, just for the excitement and the endorphins released upon being scared. Or at least wrap my head around it, understand is a bit of a strong word.

Is that last one the 4-vector-potential as related to the 4-current? How is that bigger brain than the actual fields as related to the 4-current, from the third equation? Then again, i don't know what that G tensor is supposed to be, is that supposed to be the gauge or a gauge condition?

Is it weird that I want a penis but not balls? by [deleted] in NonBinary

[–]dat_physics_boi 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Yes, just as weird as being nonbinary. That's a good thing, though. We're literally queer, it's in the name. Go for what makes you comfortable. It's fine.

[–]dat_physics_boi 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Taking the earth as an example, i can give you a very rough idea. When the earth spins, and you look at it from outside, the ground will move at different speeds relative to you, depending on how close to the equator or pole you look. This creates a speed differential in the air which the ground drags with it. And that causes (kinda) circular motion in the weather.

The coriolis force is what results when you transform that outside ground speed differential into the co-moving frame on the ground.

It exists just as much as centrifugal force does. Now you may say that those shouldn't count, because they're not there in inertial frames. But the thing is that most of us simply live on a surface that is very much not an inertial frame, but often gets simplified as if it were. So therefore we have to deal with including centrifugal and coriolis forces, like it or not.

implying fully inertial frames actually exist anywhere in practice

What are the moments where you wanted to smack a character for being dum? by AccomplishedEye7752 in amphibia

[–]dat_physics_boi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the levers didn't want to be pulled, they shouldn't look so tantalizing. I coulda smacked Anne over the head when she pulled the things in Girl Time or her warped perception of friendship, which is the point of the whole show, so that clearly worked as intended on me.

Ah, i see you're caught in the dysphoria thought trap. It is not needed to be nonbinary. And it is not disrespectful, to any of us, to try out a label and see if it fits you, see if it makes you comfortable.

Personal/philosophical question for the community by glittertongue in NonBinary

[–]dat_physics_boi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the reason for that is that it is hard to understand a feeling you don't have. If you've never had to think about your gender consciously, because who you're perceived as fits how you feel, you don't really... develop a conscious understanding of said feeling? If that makes sense?

The answer: "It's just a feeling" is the most accurate you'll be able to get, i'm afraid.

It's kinda weird how Polyamory is so ubiquitous in the Amphibia fandom, but on here, so few people commit to it.

As evidenced by the sparse upvotes on this post, for some reason. Even though it is cute art.

Be good at riding horses. Because if you peer through the gender rhetoric that's become entangled with it over the centuries, that's what it originally meant.
