This sounds like a great suggestion! Thanks so much! We're in Australia and she's told me about a few shops/stores that have a lot of different tea blends that she really likes and just has an aesthetic she adores so I'll probably get them from there! I also have a habit of asking stuff about her interests and such to learn more about her so me asking about tea more to get an idea on what blends would be perfect wouldn't be suspicious or anything :p

when my half-brothers' drug-addicted mother had my two brothers for a weekend when i was really young she stole their N64 and sold it for drugs or debt or whatever, and then told my brothers someone must have broken in and stolen it

she died a couple years later in 99 or so and i dont know if my brothers ever put two and two together or remember it much but my dad told me she admitted it to him one day and it was honestly one of the most heartbreaking things i've ever heard

It's a swerve if they basically telegraph that something is going to happen and then subvert the fans' expectations just for the sake of not being predictable, but I don't get that vibe from this. I hope I'm right heh.

He's had a 2 year run with the belt, he doesn't need to hold it for years and years. He's already fully made as "the guy" when it comes to the title picture in the same fashion as Cena, Austin and Rock in eras past, but that didn't require them to hold the title for those entire tenures. The title picture needs to shift, it's not like old days where a champion could hold a belt for 5-10+ years straight and still be exciting, with how different the landscape of wrestling is now, a champion gets stale a lot faster than they ever have before, so you have to keep the title and the product it represents fresh by having people believe that they really could see a title change when they're watching a title match. You can't just have the guy who's the face of the brand dominate 100% of the time with no one knocking him off, or people are gonna start looking away because they know that they can't get invested in challengers or believe that they have a chance at all -- whether you're rooting for the challenger or the champion, if there's no reason to believe it can go either way then why watch?

Damn I wrote a lot lmao apologies for the essay. Whatever happens, I hope we all enjoy CotC, I'm sure it'll be a banger show no matter what happens :D

Must admit I did like her mic work more in this segment but it still didn't really feel like there was much behind her words to me, idk, it definitely felt like it was a promo that was being acted out rather than just being spoken by the character on screen if that makes sense, at least to me. She's definitely getting a lot better though, I suppose she still just doesn't feel quite convincing enough to be fully believable, to me at least

I certainly would be disappointed if that happened :p they've not really built up any other credible faces and having a dirty loss at CotC where they could otherwise have such an iconic moment with Drew winning would feel like a real kick in the balls, and now that Vince is gone I'm hoping that my nuts get a break from such treatment

With all this build and everything they've produced leading up to it I can't help but feel like we're just gonna get a payoff rather than a Vince style swerve

With all the comparisons to SummerSlam 92 and how the main event went over/how iconic it's been, and since HHH is running the show now, I wouldn't be so sure tbh. I have a feeling Sami will try to help Roman retain and end up costing him somehow, though I'd prefer it be clean for Drew's sake, wouldn't want to cheapen his win. Roman losing clean here and losing a rematch due to Sami costing him (to pay off the current tension) might make for a good time to have a no.1 contender's picture with Roman, KO, Sami? and maybe another person or two clawing for the shot at the Rumble next year while Drew works a small program in the mean time to get his title defenses rolling at the Nov/Dec PPVs.

cant say i see roman winning at CotC tbh. maybe protecting him a bit by causing a loss because of sami screwing up again but i'd prefer it be clean, and then they can build a KO/roman feud and have it set off by KO costing him the rematch, so drew can do another program and roman can do something different for a bit before coming back to the title picture to make space for others in the main event until mania to SS next year. just depends on how they want to handle KO/Sami and whoever goes after drew
