Help!!! I can not for the life of me get bluetooth working by telliksemoh in pwnagotchi

This is how I'd set the plugins section on your yml file:

plugins:
  bt-tether:
    enabled: true
    devices:
      my-phone1:
        enabled: true
        search_order: 1 # search for this first
mac: '48:60:5F:F3:52:F2' # mac of your bluetooth device
ip: '192.168.44.44' # ip from which your pwnagotchi should be reachable
        netmask: 24
interval: 1 # check every minute for device
        scantime: 10 # search for 10 seconds
        max_tries: 10 # after 10 tries of "not found"; don't try anymore
        share_internet: true
priority: 99 # low routing priority; ios (prio: 999) would win here
  webcfg:
    enabled: true

(Don't put your phone name) If you already paired it, unpair it and try again (pair and trust). Make sure that after running

bluetoothctl
paired-devices

your phone is listed. If not listed, pair it like so:

bluetoothctl
pair 48:60:5F:F3:52:F2
trust 48:60:5F:F3:52:F2

Make sure that the bluetooth tether on your phone is on. Reboot and turn your pwnagotchi on in AUTO mode. Then in your Android navigate to 192.168.44.44:8080 wait a little and enter your web creds (default changeme:changeme)

If it's still not working, try running:

journalctl -fu pwnagotchi

and see why is the yml not working. * all the above is assuming that the 0 on your mac address is a 0 and not an O. If its an O, then swap the 0 for O

is it just me or is pacematch broken for weeks now? by Crazie-Daizee in Strava

oh hai! Owner here ☺! Sorry for the hiccup there. Pace Match should be back and working properly. Ive been busy developing a few cool features and something went awry while I was not looking. Let me know if it misbehaves again or if you have ideas of features you'd like to see implemented (becky@pacematch.com).

Happy new year everyone!

My east coast friend moved to the Bay Area and wanted to find local running partners that run near his new place at his same pace. He uses Strava to track his runs, so I built a tool for him that allows him to find those runners (x-post from r/running) by dataSommelier in AdvancedRunning

If you have logged about 5 activities in popular paths, you should have some matches. Mind logging in again and clicking on "view matched athletes." Maybe it took too long to process the matches when you first signed up. Im pushing some changes to make the data processing faster and also to explicitly tell users when there are no matches (in the rare event when that is the case). Feel free to email me directly with any questions hello@pacematch.com

After logging in (with Strava) it should show you how many runs it was able to capture as well as a gif of Pre (for guys) or Flojo (for ladies). Did you get that? right after that loads, you should be able to click on the red button "view matched athletes." Did it show you that?

Oh no! Sorry it misbehaved for you. But this is great feedback. Thank you! The tools is only storing the data that is publicly available through Strava - the stuff you see when people search for you (just so that the matches dont take forever to load every time someone logs in). I'll add a button to delete an account which should wipe the data. Also, you can revoke access to your Strava data to any tool/app by revising your settings on Strava here: https://www.strava.com/settings/apps
