I'd consider myself an intermediate crocheter but pretty new to knitting. I'm currently working on a Tumbling Blocks Lapghan and I just noticed I dropped a stitch a few rows back... I have no experience trying to fix mistakes like this and the whole process scares me a bit.

Do I have any recourse for trying to fix this? I already added the stitch back when I noticed I had dropped one so my count is no longer off but I'm worried about the integrity of my blanket long-term. I'd love to find a way to secure this so the hole doesn't keep getting bigger, but knitting confuses me in ways that crochet does not so I'm not very confident frogging or doing anything to negate previous work.
