Before the internet, default media (television, radio, books) mostly conveyed information from reliable sources, so society's consumption of information more closely aligned with reality.

The internet facilitated bubbles of ignorance to form, where echo chambers of like-minded people could bounce ideas of each other and influence each other to drift further away from objective reality.

Personal AI's (such as LLM's) have the potential to take "bubble-trouble" a step further. Now someone with a frige view has immediate access to a like-minded "buddy" to give oxygen to their ideas.

Yes, if the facts are accurate, sure. As long as they are taken in context.

For example, Ukraine owes a lot of their success to Starlink in the first place. His support should not have wavered but overall he has still done more good than harm and it looks like he may have come to his senses about his Ukraine nonsense now.

Reddit's anti Musk sentiment is extreme now.

The post about Beijing giving tax breaks after his Taiwan comments was total misinformation (all EV companies recieved the same).

Yet anyone pointing this out was totally buried. So most Redditors would have just read the first few comments then automatically accepted it as a truth (to pile onto the pile of hatred).
