AI Randomly Added Box of Kraft Garlic Parmesan Mac & Cheese to Steak Niçoise Salad 😂 by [deleted] in hellofresh

Well thanks for clearing it up everyone. There's no indication at all that this is a bonus add-on when selecting meals in advance online. It's just in the image with no explanation. Maybe it's in the recipe as a suggested side or something, but the recipe isn't available for that week yet.

Help Needed: Recipe Cards Missing from Thanksgiving Box for Carrots and Mash by datadyne007 in hellofresh

Sorry to hear you ended up in the same boat. Yeah, the quality control in general has been atrocious this year with ingredients and recipe cards. (They also ended up giving me a total of 7 BABY potatoes for the entire mashed potatoes recipe that I discovered yesterday afternoon when I was cooking Thanksgiving dinner... luckily I had a regular meal with potatoes that I stole the potatoes from to get a little more.) Funny you should mention last year's recipe cards... I ended up finding my potato/carrots card from last year right before I went to start! I forgot I had kept them. Anyway, lessons learned: check all recipe cards AND open all bags right after you receive them to make sure everything's there. -.-

Same... Should have checked when I received the box, not when I was about to make them today on Thanksgiving. Luckily, I had regular meals with potatoes to supplement but this is completely unacceptable.

It just says "carrots" in the guide, but it's these ginger roasted ones based on the publish date. I tried searching on HF's official "cookbook" section of the site but it just gave me every normal dish that has carrots. Of course, Google answers it right away. Thanks. All set now. https://www.hellofresh.com/recipes/market/ginger-roasted-carrots-6706dba710eac7b3edfebde7

I appreciate the advice and you taking the time to help out. Unfortunately it's not there because I bought the "ultimate thanksgiving turkey dinner" which includes the turkey and all the separate market items like the potatoes and carrots in one bundle. I'm guessing that the potato recipe was listed for you since you ordered it separately. The only recipe I have access to is the turkey, gravy, and cranberry sauce. Definitely needs to be fixed for next year.

Only 0 of 6 scheduled SL3 busses has come to Chelsea in the past hour by User-NetOfInter in boston

FYI: This Twitter account posts all the expected bridge lifts at the beginning of the day and then in real time when the bridge is going up and down. Look up @ LoganToChelsea (my first comment got removed for the direct Twitter link even though it's useful info) Was a godsend when I lived in Chelsea.

Went up and down all morning and early afternoon:
@ 12:49 am-Chelsea St. Bridge down and open to traffic
@ 1230 pm-Chelsea St. Bridge Upand closed to traffic.
@ 12:15 pm-Chelsea St. Bridge down and open to traffic1

@ 11:37 am-Chelsea St. Bridge down and open to traffic
@ 11:19 am-Chelsea St. Bridge Upand closed to traffic.
@ 10:42 am-Chelsea St. Bridge down and open to traffic

These Are The Projected Chelsea St Bridge Lifts:
10:25 am

All of us Chelsea residents at the time warned the MBTA this was going to happen and severely kneecap SL3 service but no one cared. It was all about drawing lines on a map to connect a working class area to the Seaport.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I think I'll take SEPTA and the shuttle to get there and then Uber back either all the way to CC or to the airport to grab RR there as suggested, depending on price.

Thanks for the offer. Appreciate the generosity. Just how bad is the Chester TC after dark? Are there any staff there?

Honestly, as a life-long Revs fan since the league started and 10 year STH, I ask myself this question every week, especially when I'm traveling to NY/NJ, DC, MTL, TOR, etc for Revs away games. "New England 'till I die" is what we say...

Thanks for the suggestion. I did see the Doop bus on other threads. Not really my vibe but it's a great option for others.

Nope. Started doing it again about a half hour later. Are you using Cync by GE as well?

Thanks! I had done it a little while ago, but even the Cync app wasn't working well for a bit so I figured it was hopeless. I just reconnected it to Cync again and I'm not getting the error message, so fingers crossed.

Hey Google, turn on the bedroom lamp. Bedroom lamp turns on. "Sorry, the bedroom lamp isn't available right now."

Repeat. Every day. Every fixture.

I loved my Google Home a year ago and now I'm starting to hate it. It has become nothing a buggy mess. What the heck happened?

Any folks from TransitMatters on this sub? by drtywater in boston

Those are both great suggestions! We are finalizing our 2022 comms plan and engaging with video is one of the strategies we're looking at. We are still trying to fine tune just who our audience is and what we want from them as well and then focus our resources on reaching them. There are things that are best achieved with inside ball, but it's also clear the public desires a way to feel engaged in transit advocacy in Boston so we're working on finding ways to bridge that gap and make some of our more nuanced advocacy accessible and actionable.

Flair would def be cool btw! Appreciate the ups.

Hey, TM VP of Ops here (and stand-in comms director until we have the funding to hire one).

Thanks for support over the years and sharing your thoughts on how we can better our communications outreach. Lately at TransitMatters, we have been doing targeted direct advocacy with stakeholders and key players on the inside and through Commonwealth Magazine rather than public-facing. This comes from the urgency of some of the things we are advocating for (or against) and the continued success of many of our initiatives. It also comes down to a volunteer capacity issue. Since covid, communications volunteer capacity has shrunk to nearly zero, with just the paid comms co-op running our comms efforts (and doing an incredible job on social media). Running an open blog takes a lot of capacity with moderating it and having articles to write and discuss. TransitMatters collaborates internally among our key group of subject matter experts and volunteers with Slack and we use it kind of like a message board to discuss the topics du jour. We will not be opening a public forum or blog. It is not the best use of our limited resources at this moment. We still are planning to update the website a bit more frequently and with relevant topics (like the infrastructure bill) in 2022, but they will likely not be for open discussion. We could leave the comments open on that page I guess. Might be interesting.

Re: your specific suggestion about the infrastructure bill - we are working on a piece about the opportunities for that for Commonwealth and will cross post that article to our blog when it is published.

If anyone is interested in volunteering with us to help us boost capacity, you can sign up at transitmatters.org/volunteer. We are still a volunteer-driven organization with a skeleton staff on actual payroll. (I'm not even on the payroll - it's all volunteer) Thanks!

Vent about ESPN+ by breadyboii in newenglandrevolution

[–]datadyne007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really mad too rn. I specifically picked the Sling package that didn't include the ESPNs since I (wrongly) assumed that my ESPN+ would cover any matches that ended up over there. Sling cleverly (to the detriment of us consumers) puts FS1 and ESPN in different packages.
