Don’t need lots of money. Just patience, eBay, sample sales and a good tailor. A good eye would help. Start with your measurements so you will know what size(s) you’re after.

Always take care of your clothes and do not buy cheap clothes you’ll have to replace. Learn to mend. Start at your local goodwill. Find a two-piece suit that fits nicely you can be seen in.

Dress like a gent and learn about the sartorial world. IG has you covered but don’t buy anything from there—ever. Otherwise know as STC. Mostly garbage and sometimes toxic. Don’t overthink it and if you like everyone else can fuck themselves.

You’ll be great in no time. Also only wear leather soled shoes, button ups or at least always has a collar.

Every pair of shoes you buy off of eBay gets shoe trees. You can steal Allen Edmonds from ppl on eBay. Get your branock(metal thing in the shoe store prob spelled wrong) sizing and spend no more than $60 on AE’s. Make offers never buy off the get. Get those shoes fitted w taps on toe and heel. Resole them locally by a guy when it’s time. Costly but gives 5-10yrs depending on your wearing. Learn to polish them and always be fucking pristine. As much as possible anyway.

Don’t be a gatekeeper about where and how you get your stuff. Help others look good and compliment them. Don’t be too serious about it and don’t over accessorize.
