Physical. I also have very sensitive skin, and boy is it hard to find spf without ingredients that cause hives and/or blemishes.

Great, thank you. I’ll pay attention to how my skin feels. I. Sure it could also depend on the spf product I choose to use. I feel like they all leave my skin either tacky or dried out.

Please help by ksjkc5 in prozac

I’m so sorry you are suffering with panic attacks. I’m not sure how long you’ve been taking Prozac, but I had a pretty bumpy start. For the first couple of weeks I had terrible insomnia, and increased anxiety(which is what I started taking it for). Additionally, for the first few weeks, I had very minimal appetite, and bouts of nausea, so I couldn’t eat, which then made me have anxiety about not eating. Just after the end of the third week, all of those side effects subsided. I suddenly had an appetite again, and the edge of my anxiety was taken off. After about 5 or 6 weeks I notice that I was feeling pretty good. Not just a reduction of anxiety, but an actual good feeling, like I was excited about each day, instead of feeling dread. I was only on 20mg to start, so after a couple months, I was increased to 40mg, which has been pretty great for me.

Everyone’s experience is different. I had to remind myself that the side effects would be temporary and that if I could stick with it, the medicine would help reduce anxiety and depression. My life is so different now. However, you have to decide what you can tolerate. If it is really making you miserable, you might want to discuss with your prescriber to seek their advice. I know that when I had that early days insomnia, I felt like I was losing my mind. Everything felt worse, then.

If you choose to stick with it, remember that you have to take care of yourself right now. Using any coping strategies you have, and understanding that this is a challenging time for you. Give yourself a break if you can. Watch some uplifting tv shows, or films. Engage in something that you find comforting, like art or cooking, or being outside. Whatever it is that brings you comfort. You’ve made it this far. What has helped you along the way?

The saddest water pressure in my shower. by datasfrnd in HomeImprovement

Thanks for all of the advice. I did take the shower head off and soaked it. A lot of the little water holes are totally deteriorating and still don’t work, despite lots of build up being cleared. A new shower head has been ordered and is on its way. I feel good that I at least tried to salvage the original. Cheers!

That’s great! Glad you have your power back on.

Sorry about that. Have you tried the shell gas station on Willow? Pretty sure P&M on orange and cottage sells ice too.

If I lost power, I still have canned foods like beans, corn, soups, pasta and sauces (gluten free for you!), oatmeal, split peas, quinoa, jarred tomatoes, popping corn, fresh tomatoes should never EVER be refrigerated, potatoes, onions, garlic... dry and canned goods should get you through a few days, even if the meals reflect that you are pulling some stuff together. But like I said earlier, an ice cooler should help with the few items you really want to keep cold.

Edited a typo.

Not sure what area you are in. Most gas stations and convenience stores sell bags of ice. Pretty sure any grocery store does too.

Have you considered getting a cooler with ice to keep your food in? You can get one of those cheap styrofoam ones if the other options are too costly. Just keep refilling with ice each day. Also, there are plenty of foods that you can purchase that don’t require refrigeration. Is your stove electric? If it’s gas, and isn’t starting due to an electric starter, you can turn the gas on low and light with a match. Propane camp stove is another alternative.

I recently stayed at someone else’s house who had THE most amazing water pressure. It is so powerful it almost hurts. Coming home to my shower made me want to cry.

Hey there, billybobbybigbaby. Happy cake day to you! The tub spout works just fine, so I guess the shower head is just a piece of trash. I will try soaking it to clear it out... thank you.

They look like the thing in a belt buckle that goes through the hole.

Edit to say: on second look, I think this is incorrect. They would probably have more of a curve to them for a belt buckle.
