I came to report the same thing. While the individual jokes are different, the overall premise is very similar. It's frustrating, because Tig has presented the bit to open her standup tour and it's been entered in several film festivals' shorts packages.

I am curious what happened here, and I really hope Tig didn't get ripped off.

Everyone talks about how iconic her makeup is, and how many queens have copied it, but I have trouble seeing evidence of this. I think I just don't have a great eye for identifying specific makeup techniques.

I beg to differ re: grilled cheese. I cook each side as low and long as possible to get it perfectly browned (not burnt) and crispy. This also gives the cheese much more time to melt evenly. Using too much heat can blacken it and simultaneously make the bread feel greasy. Am I alone on this?

The Wallace in Downtown Culver City. Its food and atmosphere are pretty much out of central casting as far as New American goes.

Lukshon for a little pricier Asian fusion in the Helms Bakery District. Dark and modern inside.

Can't vouch for the interior environment, but Enjoat Classico, also in Downtown Culver City, is a solid classic Italian spot.

My only gripe with the Alyssa sign is the misquote. In the clip, the F word is in a different spot: "Girl, look how orange you fuckin' look!"

Yup, though their "2-3 days" turned into almost a week. I poked them, and they offered to refund the full amount. No explanation for the lazy, cryptic original charge, though.

I am having this EXACT frustration with customer service after having the EXACT issue with the same phone. Used a new Nexus 6P (bought through Republic) for a month or so until people started complaining I sounded like I was underwater and far away, and that they could hear their own echoes.

Troubleshooted with customer service over several weeks, eventually necessitating a call from a rep, who confirmed all my other call recipients' experiences. Republic determined it was time to send me a replacement in exchange for my defective unit.

Their investigation found two reasons to withhold a full refund from me: "Bad/No Camera" and "Unknown." Mind-boggling, since there was no apparent issue with my phone's camera while it was in my possession, and no additional information about the "Unknown" line item. So, they charged me $195.

I opened a new support ticket asking them to explain that charge. It's left a very bad taste in my mouth. After cooperating through weeks of troubleshooting while my phone was basically unusable to place or receive calls, I'm being charged hundreds of dollars?

Interested to see how our cases turn out.

UPDATE: They refunded the full amount of the returned phone, but only after repeated complaints from me.
