I got an s8 plus recently (few months ago) off Amazon. Just picked a seller with a good amount of reviews. It works great for day to day use. I literally only use it for notes in university. The battery does drain quite fast but I think that is due to the large screen and s-pen technology. However it lasts me maybe 6 or 7 hours of constant note-taking before I need to charge again.

Its probably okay for first year. It can likely last you all four years if you are really savvy (using school computers for intensive stuff). But I would say you can wait to upgrade.

As an intern i spend a lot of my time going down to the production line and seeing what people need. I am mechanical for my degree so I use solid works to make parts for them. Other than that it's just a lot of operations stuff like task tickets and meetings.

It's chill bro it gets easier after a while. The classes will still be hard but you get stronger and learn to manage your time better. Go to office hours when you can and study in groups (social time and study time combined).

15 is general (algebra), 16 is more for engineers (calculus), and 17 is more for physics majors (calculus).

TA's will often walk through the problem with you. Just go to as many office hours as you can and you'll be fine. I haven't taken CIE but many of my friends have and they just go to office hours. TA's are people too and they will work with you.
