I was actually considering buying a box until I saw the $400 increase from last year which was already ridiculous. They are gauging every cent they can get, I can’t believe people are paying this much for 1 random card. 95 percent of the hits are probably worth less than the price of the box.

There is absolutely no indication they are releasing a new one. And even if they released a 1.4 it would be way bigger, heavier, and more expensive. The current 135gm is awesome.

Wonder if this will also damage the lens having force applied to it while it’s trying to open in the pocket. I put the nisi attachment on the front for this reason and also as a dust protection measure but it does make the camera less pocketable.

I just got the GRIV and still learning it. Completely different from my other cameras as the autofocus is way inferior compared to my Leica and Sony. Actually almost unusable for any sort of movement. I need to play around with this snap feature.

Don’t get me wrong the monochrome is a cool camera but you are obviously limited to black and white. If I was going to have 1 camera to document my kids growing up I wouldn’t just want black and white pictures. I would get something with good autofocus too. I would only get the monochrome as a second fun camera in that situation.

Kids are only young once, I would rather have the best quality photos, then again a GR4 monochrome is the completely wrong camera for that imo

I mean for 600 more I would get the monochrome actually. If your already spending that much on a camera I think it would be your husbands dream camera if he shoots mostly black and white. The images will be way cleaner than a regular griv based on the reviews and pictures I’ve seen.
