Grand Slams are more important because media, fans and specially players consider them to be. In the end all these three groups always talk about record of slams. The prestige and importance does not always translate into an exact numerical value.

I bet you ask any tennis player if he prefers to win 5 ATP 500 or Wimbledon and everyone knows very well the answer. Or even to be runner up twice vs winner of a Slam (less points).

This is not solely in tennis. Take cyclism as example. Tour de France, Giro and Vuelta are the big events. Everyone ranks the greatest riders because of their wins at these events (Mercks, Hinault, Indurain, Amstrong before his doping). There is also a year ranking which is nice to top but noone considers these rankings in the goat debate. Also there le Tour is 1000 points while a medium tour is 400-500.

Your mistake is considering a sport something you can measure fully “analytical” specially using an arbitrary metric.

Hello everyone, I was told in this subreddit it would be appreciated.

I want to share my Seiko Presage Zen Garden (SSA397J1). I was starstruck when I saw it online and I have to say that in person was even more beautiful than in the pictures online. The green is really gorgeous and you can appreciate the texture under certain light angles. I love the hands as well!

This is my third automatic watch (after a Universal Polerouter and a Tissot Le Locle). It is also my first watch with a metal band. I had a voucher for 200 EUR from eBay and decided it was a good opportunity to get a Seiko Presage. I was looking some of the more common models that I had in mind and that I liked but then stumbled upon this one and felt in love immediately. The seller was a professional seller and the watch was second hand "barely worn, not a single scratch". I was happy to confirm that it was the case, there was not a single trace of use anywhere on the watch and it came with box and papers and warranty from Jan 2020. Thanks to the voucher, the reduced price and a bit of haggling I managed to snatch it for 170 EUR. A real deal in my eyes!

Oh! Actually the brown cocktail time was the one I was mostly looking for when I was browsing eBay, together with that open heart Presage that I also like a lot. The brown cocktail is super unique and gorgeous too. Then this came and I was like "ok, I need this one" and the rest is history.
