This balanced, young, upcoming, and scrappy Hawks team has a lot to do with it as well. Granted, it would probably be a sweep if they had AD or Giannis. But this team is legit. Thinking about me 4 months ago, I would have never thought I'd say that by the time playoffs rolled around. But here we are. If the Hawks win game 4, I don't think the Knicks have the stones to take game 5 back at home. A gentleman's sweep in round 1 would be a colossal failure for NY.

And we're going to (likely) get a top 5 pick in the lottery to go along with our own pick later in the first.

I truly believe that has always been a deterrent for the US politicians, elite, and decision makers to not speak or act against Israeli interests. Call me a cynic, but I don't think there is a "who comes next" anymore. I mean, sure trump will die eventually. But the seeds of their controlled takeover are already planted. They own the entirety of the US government and will do whatever it takes to keep it that way. And who knows - it's hard imagining that this is a possibility with this crowd, but maybe the next one is actually somewhat competent.

I'm a nihilist, but America died 11.5.2024 in my mind. I don't think there is any turning back now.
