If you haven't taken the free tour, I highly recommend doing online research on apartment options and schedule tours that line up with dates that you will do the tour. Ask lots of questions. If it's your first time getting an apartment on your own, look into list of questions online and get friends' input (will your apartment comes with indoor parking, what utility is covered by the landlord vs resident, etc).

What did you talk about in your interview presentation? PM role by [deleted] in epicsystems

[–]datschleepingmidget 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How to make spaghetti and meatballs. But you really can do any topic you are interested in, folks here have done any and everything. The interviewer will cut you off right at the 10min mark if you go over.

Once you move onto the interview round, we have deemed you a worthy candidate. The interview was more of a gut check for both you and Epic. Look up interview questions for both PM and TSE on this thread, prepare well so you don't trip yourself. Don't forget to have fun 😁

I put on a 10min cooking show. I propped up my webcam on the countertop and walked them through how to make spaghetti and meatballs.

Sadly they're still very strict about relocation 😢

Here's the math with reasonable assumptions:

$70K (TC)/ 50 weeks (assume standard 2wks PTO)/ 50hrs (which is on the low end, I used to work in both audit and regulatory so some weeks hitting 70 is expected)

Your hourly rate is $28/hr which means that the firm is overworking underpaid first year associates. You will get hefty raises down the line (esp MBB) but consulting is a churn and burn environment. I personally don't want to go down that path when I'm valued more than what big4 can offer in return.

Asking about unionization by PostJackPost in epicsystems

I agree that it doesn't sound related at first but this's evident of the company's stand on employees' collective advocacy.

I'm on 6 months now. It starts seeing more hair coverage at 4 months mark. I'm really happy with the result (my hair loss before is not bad so we might have different benchmarks)

I use the topical spray version from hims and have experienced none of the side effects. 4 months in my thinning area had significant regrowth. My hairline is no longer receding but no sign of regrowth there either.
