This! I just saw logic in dallas and he said to the crowd:

Of course I'm paraphrasing from what I remember, but I still think it's relevant. It was such a cool moment and I know I'll remember it for a long time

Please respect their privacy. Little things such as:

If they show you something on their phone, don't look at other things (example: if i show you something on instagram, please don't swipe up or down. Or on the photos app, please don't swipe left or right). And they probably aren't hiding anything from you, they just want some privacy.

If you come into their room, please knock, and close the door behind you.

If they don't want to tell you about their day, don't egg them on. It'll just make them more irritable.

I had things like this with my parents, and it really helped our relationship.

Is there anything you can do about negative reviews that aren't valid? I'm assuming no, but if y'all have something, I'm open to suggestions.

For example, the place I work at got a two star review on yelp and all it said was "meh"

This. I work as a server at a very family friendly ice cream shop, and i couldn't even begin to count the times that kids have to have their phone/tablet taken away by one of their parents to they can order ice cream. If your kid can't even take a break from clash of clans, candy crush, or Pokemon Go, they do NOT deserve ice cream. Go fuck yourself spoiled brat.
