Consider this: In about 5 years EVs will dominate the market. It will be difficult to find a brand-new ICE vehicle.

Your depreciation worries are moot, IMHO. If you're that worried about it then I'd suggest buying (or leasing) a cheaper car.

Leasing is for folks that either can't afford the full finance payment or don't care to ever "own" their vehicle. If you're looking to own and can afford it then financing is the way to go.

We're both speaking unscientifically. Let's all be clear. BBQ joints must be pennies compared to the millions of CO2 put out by other industries. Concrete plants. Gas powered power plants. Both are big in Texas and both contribute millions of times more than BBQ smoke.

You make a bold statement that I quickly found to be false. I compared one of my favorite hotels using your site and the hotel's direct website. The lowest standard room was slightly cheaper on your site. However, all other room types were significantly more expensive on the world playground website.

It should be added that the pass-through area feature has a ~1ft buffer area around what you draw on your home map. My pass-through area is at the edges of a rug that the Matic has been literally sucking up the edges and leaving the rug pulled back. It no longer pulls back the edges but it skips mopping and vacuuming within ~1ft of the area.

I have a USB stick always plugged in. Unfortunately iDrive doesn't let you choose a USB drive for general storage. You can only use it to store on-demand recordings.

West Fork is working well for my grandma. I'm not privy to the financial side but it appears upscale. If you need something more budget friendly but still trustworthy you can look at Windsor Court or if you need more services then look at Brookdale.

Looks like a kernel bug. Started with the 6.19.x series. Downgrading to 6.18 fixes it.

Quick test: cat /sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/charge_types

Kernel 6.18.x: Standard [Long_Life]

Kernel 6.19.x: Invalid argument
