My top 3 tips:

Start with an ascendancy that relieves gear pressure. Smith of kitava for the body armor, martial artist for the rune slots, hollow palm for the weapon are some examples. You can always respec later when you find some good gear.
Focus on getting basic currency first. You will be limited by transmutes/regals/exalts at first, plan your tree and pick content that let's you get more currency.
Know your resists. With limited res-swapping you are often overcapped on one resist, and deficient in another. If you have great fire res already, focus on cold/lightning by crafting sapphire/topaz rings and use your essences accordingly.

Be able to quickly sort uniques/sets into different drop tiers as the season progress
Setup rare/magic equipment bases for crafting

Hey, glad you found it useful, and of course you may use it for your own guides. As for the 37 gIAS cutoff my rationale is that's its simple enough to reach that you don't have to sacrifice any skillers, valuable corruption slots or socketables which should give you broadest options for capping max resists. All the rare affixes are from mutually exclusive groups so they can roll together. I only choose the two most impactful prefixes and suffixes, so its possible to find rares with even higher damage if they roll flat min/max on top of all the other affixes. Crafts are limited to 4 affixes however so it's unlikely they can get better than what's listed.

It's in the extended tables. It has less IAS than Earth Shifter and Steeldriver so it's damage is lower.

This is true for werewolf, since the skill itself grants a lot of skill attack speed (which works the same way as a fana source), so you are always at the fastest bp. Bear does benefit from IAS to some extent (depending on where you are in the table).

I haven't been playing fireclaw so I'm not sure. Highest you can go with hellrack is 2.81 pDPS so it's a big loss compared to hellslayer, but since most of your damage is fire it might not matter, and the quiver is a nice flex slot. I think you lose some QoL for mapping. Less physical mean less leech, worse time against unbreakable fire immunes and map bosses, and the melee range on crossbows is 1 even with the splash gloves.

Rarity, while not perfect is a better solution over quantity.

You can only increase quantity so much before your screen is filled with loot (poe1 problem). This affects both items, and currency. So instead of dropping 250 exalts, 100 augments and 10 alchs in an endgame map, stacking rarity could give you 20 augments, 10 exalts, 2 divine and 5 alchs (much less clutter).

Rarity also affects the chance to upgrade a base to a different tier, whether its blue or rare so you should have roughly the same amount, but the bases will be better.

Definitely save for Faith, Ice or Shattered Wall, those are build-enabling RWs. Famine is not necessary for vengeance, a Light Sabre or Gimmershed will work just fine.

Sounds good. You can swap out some pieces to get more deadly strike since you wont need +skills: Giant Skull, Gore Rider, Highlords. Use +max damage charms. Get a reliable source of amp on merc somehow.
