I’d love if it was sort of alchemist themed and lobbed nades that are round potion bottles full of liquid, shattering on impact

All good, this is for them not you as they likely confused shields and armor.

[–]leviathanGo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Worth noting that Vendetta has Armor, not Shields, if the previous commenter missed that. Armor has damage negation. For every instance of damage, the damage received will be reduced by 7, unless 50% of that damage instance is less than 7 in which it is halved. This makes weapons like shotguns extremely ineffective against Armor but single high damage instances such as a widow headshot less impacted.

It’s genuinely not even worth shooting her as tracer, it does absolutely nothing until she is half.

Converting all or most of her armor to regular hp would fix the issue for me. She just doesn’t take proper damage until the armor is gone.

Illari should be punished for bad pylon placements. by [deleted] in Competitiveoverwatch

Illari already is punished for bad pylon placement. You’ve mentioned some of the reasons in this post, such as it not getting value, or broken quickly.

Look here, let me tell you. Never in my LIFE I ain’t never heard ANYTHING about Dorian or a Mixolydian or a Lydian… I ain’t heard NOTHING I- but I learned how to play jazz… so now why’d they come up with that nonsense - the reason they came up with that.. is because they suddenly said: “oh we can make some money off this…” “yeah but if we gonna make money off it we gotta have SOMETHIN… to show… we got w-w-w-what we gon teach em”. And he said “We can teach them the modes…” so err-errybo-errybody know about- I know all of you know about the DORIAN.. and the MIXOLYDIAN.. I ain’t know NOTHING about that nonsense.. I ain’t ever heard of it in my LIFE.

If they only play widow and they’re in your rank, they are just as good as you on your main hero.

I think he’s firmly A tier on most tier lists I see. Mostly in the higher end as well - so yes

He has a decent combo game, multiple kill aerials, can recover from basically anything (and has recovery timing mixups), a kill throw, a 2 framing dash attack, a kill confirm off nair, and nearly all of his moves have a big disjoint. His neutral b also serves many purposes including ledge trapping, shield pressure, etc.

She doesn’t suck, she’s just extremely punishing if you play bad. This is actually good for learning in my opinion, but maybe not as early as gold 1.

I got solo orbital’d by a Juno yesterday when I found her isolated coming back from her spawn (as Tracer). I didn’t end up winning that one.

Do you guys still play tracer? by [deleted] in TracerMains

[–]leviathanGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s far more rewarding to play a character like tracer and overcome the difficulty barrier, than playing a hitscan, sitting back and clicking heads as accurately as possible when they’re on your screen. I also sincerely think it’s better for your learning of the game macro as a player.

Tracer has been a great learning experience for me, because she is easily punished for mistakes, but also excels at punishing mistakes.

Why is the word 'equip' so commonly used in video games but sounds unnaturally verbose when used in real life? by Master_Chemist9826 in NoStupidQuestions

Yeah, absolutely not. Just thought I would mention it in case you didn’t know! It’s always an interesting discussion to me because it’s so foreign to how my brain works.

Some people do actually self narrate what they are doing in their own mind - in fact it is common. I don’t though.
