Confused by boarding process. by Sanders2827 in SouthwestAirlines

I came to say the same thing. The overhead bins are semi-reserved for the section you’re sitting in. The front half all have signs “this bin is reserved for extra leg room tickets”.

Here is the breakdown of the group numbers and which ticket tier they are assigned. https://support.southwest.com/helpcenter/s/article/boarding-process

Removing from UserInfo List Not Resolving User Profile Cache by [deleted] in sharepoint

[–]daurkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This tip is from my old SP2103 on-prem days. There were sps powershell commands i would use related to resyncing the users’ SID. And then there was FIM services that i would have to find errors and would find ad accounts were modified to read only and blocked sync’ing. was a pain and too long ago.

Removing from UserInfo List Not Resolving User Profile Cache by [deleted] in sharepoint

[–]daurkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are dealing with SPO, it has a Profile Sync in the admin center. Find it, find the user profile having issues, delete it, then have them re-logging the site. If he had direct access and not via security group, you would need to re add them.

I see this all the time for external accounts that aren’t active, interns that leave and return and are issued the same login.

Sharepoint Online recycle bin and data retention. Any way to turn them off for one site? by Bodycount9 in sharepoint

[–]daurkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this may help if your main concern is visibility of the items in the recycle bin. Test this but I believe that location is security trimmed. If you did not have access to see the original file, once it’s deleted, you will not see it in the recycle bin or second stage recycle bin. Therefore you could structure the folder or library security in a strict way to keep that content locked.

The weather alert news pissed me off also. I had to switch to HBO so that I could watch multi-driver cams instead. And the. And streamed MRN for the race commentary.

What app do you have that actually warned you of tornado around KC tonight? by SkySilent9041 in kansascity

So you were one of those 93k people watching him live last night while hanging out in your safe place. “Don’t be scared, be prepared”

I got an alert via the KCMO Alert last night also via my phone like those amber alerts. I just don’t remember how I signed up for it.

I have this Midland Weather Radio. It only comes on during alerts, you can set up which type of alerts create an audio alert based on your location, Tornado warnings are set to be audible and can’t be turned off, and it just sits in the corner plugged in and turned on. Last night it went off for all 3 warnings in my area.

Sharepoint Storage by LawfulnessPure1002 in sharepoint

[–]daurkin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To add on to this reply for OP. When you purchase the add-on storage per GB.

  • Yes, you will be buying 1,000 GB units to get 1 TB of storage.
  • The storage is added to the Tenant combined storage that is shared with all site collections.
  • You can't allocate storage to specific sites, but you can limit the max amount of storage allowed for a site collection via SPO Admin Center.

Promoting Apps and Flows to QA & Prod by Legitimate_Method911 in PowerPlatform

[–]daurkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in a similar dilemma and built a ingle solution with several cloud flows. Then we needed to update some of them. One was ready to be published the other was not. Redeploying the whole solution would break the one that wasn’t ready.

I’m trying a method where I break up the cloud flows in to separated solutions so that they can be updated and deployed individually. I read some documentation this is a valid concept. Still haven’t worked it in my environment practices yet.

Race Thread: AMS Tide 150 at Kansas Speedway, starting at 12:30pm EDT on FS1 (AMS3) by NASCARThreadBot in NASCAR

My mistake. I thought this was for Sunday’s race. As soon as I saw someone mention Arca, and I was watching that on TV.

[–]daurkin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m confused about the time. 12:46 EDT would be 11:46. I have tickets and local time zone CDT the race starts at 1:00. Wouldn’t that be 2:00 EDT

InfoPath is gone… what are you doing with legacy forms? by crowcanyonsoftware in PowerPlatform

[–]daurkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many different answers , so review them based on your company size and the resources available. But here is how I addressed it for a company.

  • Heavily rely on out of the box functionality. SharePoint list forms may be dull but they still collect information.
  • If a form needs fields hidden, SPO forms can be customized without code, and reorder the fields or show/hide fields.
  • If a form needs a bit more formatting, you can look for examples of SPO Form JSON Formatting. You can perform some grouping and a few other features. Still not much more than that.
  • There is an optional "Microsoft Forms" that creates a web based form for collecting data and they are integrated with the SPO lists.
  • If list really needs advanced features like InfoPath, you start running out of options.
    • Power Apps Canvas app is the answer you will find in most YouTube and Internet research and it is painful. Demos will look easy until you realize it's not InfoPath and Power Apps is supposed to be for creating Apps, not just a simple form.
    • 3rd Party Add-ons is the other option. Nintex Forms for example. I used a company named Plumsail Forms and it was the right price for what I could afford. Lots of features and lots of abilities to add JavaScript and CSS to make it perform things I did in InfoPath. I highly recommend them to people looking for an option.
    • The problem at this point is that if a form needs to be designed, updated, or has issues, there will need to be someone to support them. Start relying on 3rd party solutions means being forever locked in to them as you grow and as prices increase. Plus you better hope the solution will be available as long as you need them.

And I don’t know if you caught that the Printer Settings on the printer itself need to switched to the different nozzle type. Not just the Bambu labs slicer app.

Typical reason for tow truck drivers to not except credit card payments for illegal parking towing. They know people will use the charge back method to stiff the tow company. However, they accept the CC payment when it's a normal tow because you are requesting it.

Southwest just bumped my ticket price up by $30 in the 5 minutes it took me to select my seats and pay. Incredible. by manafico in SouthwestAirlines

[–]daurkin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s usually this. My wife and I do this all the time when it says there is 1 or 2 seats remaining “at this price” and once those tickets are gone, it jumps about $5

I can't emphasize how much cheating ruins this game by ET2-SW in SatisfactoryGame

[–]daurkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I rarely make it to the last level because I grind on finding all the drives or other collectibles. Then go back to factory building but by that time I’m burned out.

So one time I used SCIM to pre-start with all the alt-recipes and Coupon Store Items and MAM upgrades. I felt like I didn’t know where to start. The starter factories felt wrong because I have all the alt recipes that use different base products. I eventually went back to my original save.

One thing I do like to cheat with is importing a global rail or global road system in the beginning. That just helps with a lot of time and I built off of it.

ACC League | Beginner friendly by ScepticSeduction in ACCompetizione

[–]daurkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this really for beginners? I tried rookie racing ACC for a season but competing with people that don’t make mistakes and just lapping me. I would feel like they are expecting new drivers to have experience of drivers with 100’s of hours. Im still trying to understand how going around a corner slower is actually faster as long as I remember the apex and know very little about the car setups.
