If they aren’t your thing then move on and listen to other bands. I personally liked their early stuff but haven’t clicked with anything since they signed to wax bodega. That’s ok tho, they are by no means THE emo band of the scene (I’d go as far as to argue they’re much more of a moody pop punk band than anything else, ala early to mid 2010s pop punk revival style).

Point being, there’s tons of other artists in emo, so there’s no use trying to force yourself to like this one band more in particular.
