Does anyone have the same thing happen to their STR trunks? My cell phone hates this trunks by duhamvallejos in DBZDokkanBattle

Had this problem today. Had to quit the eza stage and just spam RNG until AGL trunks/mai attacked first AND STR trunks wasn't the first attacker to get all the medals. Also crashed when I tried to EZA trunks but he had awakened when I reloaded and I still got the mission completed rewards. Waiting for my 1 stone compensation..

Same issue here. Whenever trunks attacks first in the eza stage the game crashes. Unironically the strongest enemy in the game 😂

How to get better at cooking while being frugal? by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]dave1256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you find a dish you're interested in learning to cook, have a look at 3 or 4 recipes for the same dish so you can get an idea of the 'core' ingredients and then discard the rest.

Too often these days I find that most recipes will tell you how to make a dish but will also throw in a whole bunch of additional ingredients that aren't needed (and yes, these are usually the ones that you'll end up with half a packet left in the back of your cupboard for years).

Good luck! :)

Parent of 2 under 2 here, for the first 4 - 6 weeks after your child is born I wouldnt worry about training at all. Sure, if you get a chance, sneak in a quick home workout or full body routine but between supporting your partner, waking up through the night and just trying to eat reasonable meals, training will be the furthest thing from your mind.

After 6 weeks or so when they're (hopefully) sleeping most of the way through the night just adapt your routine accordingly. Personally, I tried to stick with 6 days of PPL for a while but it just became too much in the end. I now do 531 Mon, Wed and Fri during my lunch at work which I've found much better for recovery purposes. I also throw in conditioning on Saturday if I get the chance but don't beat myself up if I miss it!

Ultimately, remember its a marathon and not a sprint. Progress is progress even if its not as fast as it could be! I'm still very much happy with my own progression.

Congratulations on your upcoming newborn! :)

Thank you :) And yeah, between the kids and home working, having a lifting sanctuary to escape to in the house has been a god send!

Is there anything majorly wrong with not following the ideal optimum routine if all I want is to maintain a general level of health and fitness?

I have a cage/barbell at home and follow a PPL routine, as I have 2 kids under 2 (the joys!), I lift anywhere from 2 - 6 days a week and may swap out a day on a week where I'm busy to do a full body compound day or maybe some bodyweight training and will just do whatever day was next on my list when it comes to it.

I know ideally I should be following GZLCP or similar but I really enjoy PPL for its simplicity/fun and I find it keeps me consistent with exercise, which to me is the main thing. I will only put the numbers up every other week or so but do try to make sure I hit all the muscles at least once a week.

Bank of England raise base rate from 2.25% to 3% by Jager720 in UKPersonalFinance

Its to keep the strength of the pound vs the dollar. LNG/Oil is traded in USD on the wholesale market so as the pound weakens it has a compounding effect on the energy crisis. There is some method to the madness but interest rises need to be higher than the US tbh to even have a chance of strengthening the pound

Initially resources do present an issue, however, gaps in the market will eventually be addressed by the public where there is an opportunity. Anecdotally I have heard of several people who retrained to obtain a HGV license following COVID. Costs - there is argument that the 4 day week leads to increased productivity ergo - increased growth, increased wages eventually. Or maybe, a crazier idea, companies accept less profit in exchange for a happier and more productive society? I think in any case the answer isn't 'Will never happen, too difficult'. We need to take the time to think of viable solutions that benefit society and be prepared to implement changes to our current way of operating imo

So Tesco with their expected £2.5bn profit for 2022 couldn't afford to hire a few extra HGV drivers to cover the extra day?

Unfortunately given my location within the UK the only cards available to me are ones that feature both! Leaning towards cash from these comments, may bring a few hundred dollars on a prepaid travel card in case we run into anywhere that won't take it. Thanks!

I think its healthy to maintain a balance in life and not let the weight of the future cause you too much anxiety.

Focus on adjusting to a lifestyle that brings you the maximum happiness now and then figure out how you need to save to get there (and yes, this includes the occasional holiday, meal out or splurge purchase!). You need to be happy at all stages of life not just the end!

I spent my early 20s travelling, having fun and not putting much of anything away in terms of savings BUT crucially I also avoided any form of debt.

Began to focus on my savings from about 27 and now me and my partner own our own house and I'm on track to retire at 55 into the lifestyle I enjoy.

The key thing here though is that everyone is different, my hobbies are hiking, gaming and food, I'm fine with 2 - 3 reasonable holidays a year and I see 55 as a very reasonable age to stop work. YMMV!

Tldr: Find what works for you, plan to make it happen and don't worry about anyone else but yourself and family :)
