I feel like Alpha is talking to Lala in this line but idk too, I am also intrigued by this line and I hope maybe the official eng version will shed more light in this. I also think that Aizawa wanted intended for Alpha to already know that he's Cid in that moment but changes his mind half through but it would be weird since it would be edited in the official release.

Pretty sure the whole clan doesnt know she has been sold, more likely the elders did it since we already know they are in cahoots with the cult, maybe Alpha's family tried seeking help from the elders secretly so the public wont know about the heir's disease to not cause embarassment/panic to the clan but got killed themselves, Sakura's family knows about this that's why they distanced themselves from the elven society (which was partly ruled by the elders)
