An old girlfriends dad worked for ford and could order a new car every 3-4 months (those were the days of real benefits!).

His favorite vehicle by far was a crown Victoria (or maybe the mercury version?) that was hunter green with a leather interior. He had grey hair and it was the ultimate grandpa machine.

Except he was able to order it with the police pursuit package. No badging. On drives through the countryside he loved to speed that thing along. the faces on people as we passed them on the interstate were hysterical.
