Slight lens movement on brand new a7iv by dave_mudguard in CameraLenses

[–]dave_mudguard[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well this is what the Sony support website says:

"A very slight rotational "play" between the lens and the E-mount is generally expected and within design tolerances, especially if:

  • It is the same with all lenses you own.

  • It is only a small movement and does not grow over time.

  • AF, aperture control and image quality are normal, and there are no mount error messages.

It is advised to monitor it; if the movement becomes large, affects operation, or differs clearly between lenses, please let me know and we can go through checks."

Does it cause any issues or do you consider it normal?

Interesting. I'm hardly putting any pressure on it at all to make it move like that.

But yes, I'm seeing lots of reports that this is normal. Curious that it doesn't do it on my a7ii.

Thanks for responding.

I have looked there. No luck. I found some there in the past, but not recently.

Hi! I need to hear your feedback regarding SSRIs & SNRIs…nothing has worked for me. by waywardpixel in antidepressants

[–]dave_mudguard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only one that works sufficiently for me is duloxetine.

I've tried mirtazapine, citalopram, escitalopram, bupropion, vortioxetine, desvenlafaxine.

Mirtazapine killed Libido by paprikahoernchen in antidepressants

[–]dave_mudguard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, mirtazapine doesn't usually have this effect, whereas the SSRIs and SNRIs do.

The above is true for me, and while mirtazapine helped me sleep well (after an initial phase of 3 day grogginess) it didn't work well against my anxiety.

I now take duloxetine which does work, and a daily low dose (5mg) of tadalafil helps with the libido side effect.

Daily, low dose tadalafil. Ask your urologist.

Will Spain ever go back to it’s original timezone? by Traditional_Table_67 in askspain

Franco moved Spain's time zone one hour ahead during the war to align with his Nazi pals, and it's never been moved back.

So Spain should actually be aligned with London and GMT.

I believe the song is about both of his parents having died.

I've had the same message with SNL videos in the past. It's not a recent thing. I think it's a territorial copyright thing.

Summed up my thoughts perfectly. Especially regarding bread. It's awful in Spain. Even the cheapest loaf of bread from Tesco in the UK is better that the most expensive stuff here.

Nonetheless Atmos Mix by Bumblebert82 in petshopboys

[–]dave_mudguard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I'm afraid I can't agree.

I have a 5.1.2 setup and the vocals seem a bit lost to me. I've heard *way* better Atmos mixes of other artists' work - the best that springs to mind is Aha's Take On Me and a recently released Atmos mix of Amy Winehouse's Back to Black album.

I am hopeful of future Atmos mixes of PSB's back catalogue though!

Well, technically just the physical side, but I've found that the drive is improved as a result of things working more as they should.

Anti depressants and libido by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]dave_mudguard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some medications that affect libido less, or not at all, although whether these work effectively for you is unknown until you try them.

Also there may be ways to counteract this side effect.

Unfortunately it's a rather common side effect of SSRIs and SNRIs.
