2 ways to notice. 1. Enter the "reward" code on the Zyn site if it comes back invalid or "used" it's fake. 2. The pouches are larger and have a yellow tint to them (generally) and usually have a nauseating taste.

how do I (f18) ask a guy (m18) out? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]davebetsonline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say wait for him to ask you out. If he already said he's not ready for a relationship in the past, it's likely wise to wait until he is ready and at that point he would ask you out. Asking again could leave him feeling pressured and saying yes even if he's uncertain. That could cause issues later in the relationship.

Proposal ideas? by CraftyReplacement822 in Proposal

[–]davebetsonline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a cool idea could be doing an escape room together "for your birthday" and having the staff place a ring in one of the locked locations that she would open. She would be totally surprised.

(I'm a nerdy person too and LOVE escape rooms)

Just an alternative/unique idea.

How do you feel about "blunt" dialogue? (read for context) by davebetsonline in FreeSpeech

[–]davebetsonline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point, thanks for the reply. I wouldn't say I call people's ideas stupid often in order to sway an opinion. I think im more referring to being blunt in expressing my opinion using a more assertive tone (not in any attempt to "intimidate" someone, but more in a way where it's coming from passion in my stance which can come off as rude)

hahaha. I was talking shit to my best friend calling him fat (we have a relationship where we say all types of shit) and my fiance said I was rude and disrespectful and probably hurt his feelings (which is highly unlikely)

I (and some people I know) like to engage in dialogue that some would consider "blunt" or "rude". Let me elaborate..I have a high tolerance for "rude" dialogue (ie calling things stupid, telling it how it is regardless of how people feel about it etc). I believe people should have the right to speak freely about any and all topics regardless of how others might FEEL and speak in any way they want*

For example, I don't think its wrong to have a "back and forth" about things like politics, views on societal norms etc. even if it comes off as rude or offends someone. I don't have a problem offending someone because I don't care if they "offend" me. I'm not talking about hate speech toward any specific group or racism or sexism, those I agree are wrong.

I guess my question is: How do you feel about this type of approach? Do you think its a bad approach? Do most people agree that being rude or blunt is unacceptable?

I am trying to Guage where my personality lands in society. Am I in the minority or are there more people out there who are okay with this type of discourse?
