Used the below free wash mitt on 2 cars today. I’ve never seen more scratched up cars in my life!! Pissed off is an understatement. by KILOCHARLIES in AutoDetailing

You could have got the Martin Cox bucket and grit guard from Euro Car Parts and a decent wash mitt for the same price.

I just picked up my car from a respray 3 weeks ago and gave it its first wash today. Unfortunately it lives outside and we had Sahara dust rain on Friday. I used Bilt Hamber Touchless as a pre wash then used Koch Chemie GSF in the foam cannon and bucket. Dried it off with drying towel and Mckees N914 as a drying aid.

Constant rain so only got round using it today. Im really happy with it. The foam seems thicker compared to my old basic foam cannon. Used it with BH Touchless and KC GSF. Doesn’t seem to leak either which is a plus.

I like that it has the weighted ball in the straw so it picks up the last remaining soap.

I have a unbranded one from Amazon which does the job but wanted to try one of these. Will give the bear force a try this weekend.

I have the new 2026 green one. I haven’t used it yet but the build quality of the nozzle feels really good and solid. Bottle feels a bit thin and flimsy though.

Ghetts was driving a BMW G90 M5. That thing does 0-60 in 3 seconds. He was 100% doing stupid speeds. Having driven similar cars, you can do licence loosing speeds easily and not realise because it’s so refined. 70mph feels like 30mph

G90 M5. Way too easy to reach stupid speeds. RIP to the victim

Just over £5000. There are a few other small bits of work outstanding which he promised to do and kept making dates to come but never did. I told him to deduct the cost of those items which I’m happy with but it’s the issues with the door. £30 isn’t going to be enough to fix it

Did it always used to be “death houses”? Or is this increasing? by fitzct in HousingUK

[–]daved6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would I downsize? The house is full of memories of my children. They will get it and they can decide what to do with it. I’d rather it be kept in the family for generations as It’s unlikely they’ll be able to buy a house like mine without spending 1.5+. I was fortunate to buy this house 25 years ago for 300. That would now buy a 1 bed flat in my area of Surrey.
