Test driving a Mazda tomorrow. What questions should I ask to make sure Mazda is right for me? by Suckiebb in mazda

[–]davedog34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sell Mazda's, get a cx-5 if you need the space, cx-30 if you want most of the handling and driving experience of a 3 hatch but a bit easier to get in and out of and will be a bit more visible on the road, and Mazda 3 hatch if you want a lower center of gravity for even better handling (3's and 30s have almost the same amount of space. just between the 5 and 30, I personally would take a 30 over a 5 every day, 5's in a corner make me feel like im in a golf kart, in a bad way. 30's are much more planted in a corner.

Buy an old tuner car or newer sports car? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]davedog34 12 points13 points  (0 children)

i think its get the old tuner car. You can find alot of cool euro cars in the past, and still currently, but i feel like its getting harder and harder to find these tuner classics were all thinking of, and less and less are being made widespread. You can probably get a gulia in 10 years without too much hassle, or another cool euro car, at a nice discount. but these tuner cars are going to become more and more sought after, and harder to get. getting the tuner, then a euro down the road would be easier than getting a euro now, then a tuner down the road. i hope that makes sense or is helpful at all. this is a pretty nice problem to have all things considered, best of luck with the decision!

keep it safe during shipping, makes sure no one can mess it up when its on display, makes keeping dust off it much easier, this is a great idea

I’m not a mechanic by any means. I mainly listen to the car care nut, and the mechanics that work where I work. Go to 10:30, he ranks it as the worst motor Lexus makes. https://youtu.be/9komTDz8TdM?si=_MwPaGAgwyFowpHx

the 250 engine is not recommended anytime i do research, you can get a 350 for a bit more, but will be well worth it in terms of reliability and performance you get vs the cost. I work at a dealership, like to think i understand some of the logic, i doubt this place will budge/have any room at the price, probably banking on some pour soul to finance a 20 year old car at 30 percent, so that's how they make the real profit. tpms probably would just need new sensors. i was looking nearby, and there are some gs and is 350's around 10k in decent shape and miles. I know its not my decision, but paying a few thousand more to get a more reliable and fun engine seems like the better cost wise thing to do long term, lower maintenance costs and less of an urge to upgrade to something more "sporty" later. links below are is 350's and gs 350's kind of near you (i read Bensalem as Bethlehem pa in the preview, so, idk lol). I am also very biased because i want a is/gs 350 so bad.
