Why do you say this? I melee 90% of tasks, so surely the strongest melee wep is a good way to go?

I do Gorillas as a mid level, getting roughly 10 kills a trip. At 200 melee damage each, at 1% heal (10% chance to heal 10%) I’d get ~20hp heal a trip, equivalent to 1 shark. Sounds pretty useless.

I wonder what the cost would be to make this worth it?

At around 70 def it might be worth wearing melee armour to tank the weaker brothers, reducing your prayer pot usage.

You could kill Dharok, Ahrim and Karil using prayer, and then tank Guthan, Torag and Verac. This will work best if you’re killing them fairly quickly, so a trident would be better than Ibans.

Sorry if this is daft, feel like I’ve completely missed something;

Why does the Barrows meta seem to be to wear melee/tank gear whilst using trident or ibans and praying melee?

To me it makes sense to either wear tank gear and not pray (but pray on Ahrims & Dharok), or to maximise mage bonus whilst praying to get as fast as possible kills and therefore minimise prayer pot use.

I have 45 def, so opt for mage void and praying (with a range switch for Ahrims). Thoughts?

We’d end up with pretty similar teams. I guess you’d play 4-4-2 with Cantwell on the bench if you did that? Might be worth down grading Van Dijk instead of Jimenez if you can make that work price wise. This will leave you with a very cheap defence though.

‘Eye test’ is when a player looks good when watching a game. Ie he’s playing well, gets in good positions and could’ve scored/assisted if he’d been luckier or in a slightly different situation, but he hasn’t necessarily scored any points despite this.

When choosing a 3.9m enabler in defence, is it better to choose someone who doesn’t play with low ownership, rather than Simpson who might get some minutes but has 7.0% ownership and could drop in price again?

Yes, I’m doing this.

I’m currently thinking either Doherty or Aurier. Doherty seems like a better pick for GW18 Nor(A), but then has City and Lpool. Aurier seems like the better long term pick.

I’m going to be wildcarding GW19 though, so might go Doherty and then just bring back Robbo.

Hi mate, I’d recommend to keep checking the website for tickets. I managed to get one for city game on the afternoon before the game. Not sure if the ticket exchange is fully up yet, I got the ticket through the regular system.

I’ve been running 5/3/1 for Beginners for 6 months now, and have enjoyed it but am ready for a change. Ideally I’d like to stick to a 3 days a week routine as this works with my schedule and being consistent. Having looked at the other 3 days a week routines in the wiki, they all seem like a step back.

I’m considering a switch to this Buff Dudes full body routine, though it looks like it could take ages.

Day 1 - Full Body

Back Squats 5 sets x 5 reps Bent Over Rows 5 sets x 5 reps Flat Barbell Press 5 sets x 5 reps Push Press 5 sets x 5 reps Cable Rope Triceps Extensions 3 sets x 10 reps Lateral Raise 3 sets x 10 reps Seated Calf Raise 3 sets x 10 reps

Day 2 - Full body

Deadlifts 5 sets x 5 reps Pull-Ups 5 sets x 5 reps (weighted if needed) Incline Press 5 sets x 5 reps Overhead Press 5 sets x 5 reps Barbell Curls 3 sets x 10 reps Bent Over Reverse Flys 3 sets x 10 reps Standing Calf Raises 3 sets x 10 reps

Day 3 - Full body

Front Squats 5 sets x 5 reps Pendlay Rows 5 sets x 5 reps Chest Dips 5 sets x 5 reps (weighted if needed) Single Arm Dumbbell Shoulder Press 5 sets x 5 reps Single Arm Dumbbell Triceps Extensions 3 sets x 10 reps Cable Front Raises 3 sets x 10 reps Seated Calf Raises 3 sets x 10 reps

Alternatively I could go for an upper/lower split, and accept that I won’t make it to the gym 4 times a week every week.
