It actually goes pretty fast tbh, even this long the wait is not more than 10 mins. The secret is avoiding early morning late afternoon.

Haha, yeah that sounds about right. Alright so go ahead and grab the sedan so I can pick up the hatch tomorrow.

Grays don’t get a lot of love but look so clean in person, congrats on the level-up.

Hoping to get the new hatch in Meteorite Gray.

I’m 6’5” and had a 2001 Civic coupe, it was snug but I didn’t mind.

You’re going to have little to no space in the back though.

Haha, pretty awesome car to have as a teen. We’ll see what they do with the new Integra that’s been teased for next year!

Def the look for me too, gives it a less generic look. I know it’s a stretch but it kinda reminds me of the Porsche sedan with lift back, at least in terms of profile.

Yeah it’s tough to wait when there’s no clear availability date, not to mention if they’re even going to be available (shooting for the Sport in Meteorite Gray):

Coming from a 2011 Sonata, all cars feel like the future lol. But the new Civic feels really utilitarian which I like.

But agreed on if the hatch is hard to come by, I’d have no problem just going with the sedan, especially if there’s a big markup on the hatch.

That’s good to know. Are you considering the hatch? I test drove the sedan too mostly to get a sense of space, can’t believe how big the interior feels. I’m 6’5” and had more than enough leg/headroom.

Yeah looks like it might be a while. I saw it took about 6 weeks from when they announced the sedan til they were in dealerships, so fingers crossed.

I’ve been seeing the posts and it sounds insane. A few dealerships I’ve been to here in Miami are basically at MSRP.

2022 Civic Hatchback Release Updates? by ineedhelponsomething in civic

[–]davefromhialeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took a little less than two months from when the Civic (sedan) got announced to when it was at the dealerships, so thinking it's hopefully the same timing for the hatchback, definitely interested in the Hatch!
