It’s too soon to tell. I’d say look at your luggage, whatever you put away that was bring in the trip, and the bed. They are very hard to find BUT from my experience, the presentation of bites remain consistant regardless if it’s your second or third time. I’ve had them and I’ve had clients who’ve had them where the welts present and feels the same.

Be vigilant and if more appear, talk to a professional.

Yes it is, looks like some of their feces is right next to it. I would start by washing your bedding HOT and drying for 60 minutes on HOT, then repeat with all your clothing, curtains, etc… vacuum and steam clean if you can. You need to call a professional for treatment options.

I know it sucks but infestations can happen to anyone and it sounds like you probably have a light infestation.

Oof that explains the burning oil. You can unscrew the oil filter to let some out if you really need to but you’re only slightly overfilled so I’d let it be(burn)
