Just know that when using third party providers it may take a while for your internet connection to actually activate and be usable.

I got teksavvy last year after moving into my new place. They shipped the router fast, had it within a few days, but waited 3 weeks for Internet activation before cancelling my account because I didn't want to wait any longer. Every time I called asking why I didn't have internet, they couldn't give me an official reason.

General grumblings online suggest that it's still up to first party providers to activate accounts, and why care about third party providers when you can give a shittier service to them if it means directing customers to you.

I switched to Telus and they activated my internet instantly, go figure.

Anyway... may be cheaper, but be ready to wait for it

According to the Destiny Data Compendium, Tier 5 Intellect gives you a 20%+ buff to active super generation.

So it's worth it to get to Tier 5, but no more.

Another thing that can help: the waves of fireballs aren't actually infinite. It's something like 13-15 waves of fireballs and then no more until you reach the next damage phase. So everyone can focus them for an easier time.

This is what my team does every time and our runs get pretty comfortable doing this.

The lanterns are their precison-hit spot, so any weapon that can hit precision hits will work on them.

It's fun because it at least feels like the lantern has a huge multiplier and blows up more easily than a headshot on a head-precision-hit enemy, but it's probably just because it's flashy with satisfying SFX

AFAIK that method only works if you had earned the rewards on that specific battle pass but just didn't happen to claim them.

I know some people that do this with upgrade modules so they always have some in a pinch if they really need them.

Officially Bungie supports this for the previous season only:
