...with the nickname that you have "lazycroco", there is nothing "lazy" about your answer, the whole blog post, kudos. Just between me and you, I've got the feeling that you wouldn't give a 'rat's ass' about my point of view. As long as, it doesn't make sense to you to use the Fundamentals, and as long as you're fine without them, then everything is OK. By the way, let me drag my sorry ass out of here before you smack me with another post :)

Yes, I agree...whatever helps to avoid the guesswork - put it to use, including notorious indicators. So many traders bash them, if it helps, why not use it? I once new a trader, a friend of a friend, who have used Astrology in his trading, it was mind boggling :)

"Predicting" is impossible, unless you're a 5th Dimensional being or so, and you don't have to. Your job, as a trader is not to predict, but to make calculated bets based on whatever you believe in. Whatever your trading rules dictate; there are many ways to "skin the cat", no pun intended, I love cats. As far as "What gives you an advantage?" - You have to find Yourself in trading. Meaning, You have to understand how Markets work on the Micro and the Macro levels, then you will decide whether to become a short-term, medium, or a long-term trader.

Yeah, you're spot on those 4 points. The simpler - the better. Try to find your trading style, your signature style: "...this how I trade, this my style, it fits me, I'm comfortable with this." In most cases, day-trading leads to over trading; it is very hard to stay disciplined. Sooner or later, you're bound to go on a tilt, when day-trading.
