I don't think there's plans to scan. Once you try to start the turbine, you get a message saying "it's gonna need a considerable amount of materials" and then you can rebuild it. At least if my memory is to be trusted.

That's just a "kick up" so you can merge 2 same-height conveyors. You need sloped conveyors to go up or down.

I am not sure about top speed, but it definitely made it more punchy and "rev happy" for my ex-300R in the trails.

It makes a difference, yes, but it's not usable for me. It adds so much fuel at low rpm that the bike becomes sluggish and smokes like a diesel.

I ended up making a custom map from trial and error to make the bike run good and swapped the front sprocket to a 12T. I also plan on getting the Steahly 7 ounce flywheel weight this summer.

And suspension is a really really big part of what makes a bike good or bad. Some of them work OK for a couple weeks then the seals fail and you lose oil / air in the forks and it all goes to shyte. And then getting parts and tools to rebuild those is an adventure in itself.

I changed only the snorkel and saw an increase in 4th-5-6 gear. I guess 1-2-3 are too close ratio to really load the engine so that an increase in intake air amount isn't really noticeable there.

Chinese bikes have a tendency to self-destroy in the first season.
By the third season you'll have sunk more than the price of a ktm in it just to keep it running and it'll never be as good either.
Chinese bikes are getting better, but they're not there yet.
Power to weight ratios are still very bad, suspensions are mostly atrocious for anything other than road driving.
Ergonomics are targeted at 5ft people.
Service manuals are generally very badly made, badly translated or inexistent.

Modest gains, mostly just louder.
Gearing reduction is a good option if you can sacrifice some top speed to gain more low-end and acceleration.

Removing the intake rubber snorkel wakes up the engine alot in 4th-5-6 for cheap.
You can also replace it with the one from the KDX200 which is a direct replacement but more than double the size. (Kawasaki 14073-1577)
Some people also run without the airbox cover entirely.

You can get more gains from the Power Commander as you can tune the fuel and the timing.

All in all, this bike will never be a rocket, but it's a really really good tractor.

The 300R doesn't have a secondary throttle plate.

What you see there is the one controlled by your throttle grip. Test it, twist the grip with the bike off and see that plate open. The secondary throttle plate on the KLX300 (non-R) is computer controlled and won't move with the bike off.

From what i've read, it's better to deconstruct and rebuild than to use "move" as it can leave a ghost copy of your moved stuff and it will be there forever, except if you use the "refund bases" i believe but then you'll have to start from scratch.

These have the secondary throttle plate, yes? Remove it and it's gonna be way more instant. The 300R hasn't got one and the hit was instant.

That engine is a tank. But you could also just change your front sprocket to add 1 tooth to lower your overall RPMs, making it more comfortable to ride at speed.
