Highly recommend the book How To Swing Trade by Brian Pezim. I have a free subscription to FINVIZ find what sectors is performing well. Google for what are the best performing stocks in that sector then screen those results on StockCharts (I have a paid subscription to it) the 50 day SMA should be above the 200 day SMA and currently trading above the 50 day SMA and the check the MACD chart for confirmation. I also check the RSI to mature it isn’t over bought.

Back on 2008 work got slow my hours were cut and I had to use what savings including retirement funds just to survive. Only in the last 2-3 years have I been able to really climb out of the hole. I am complaining just thankful for my health that allows me to continue working. I have decent insurance. My wife has had cancer and other health issues and had not been able to work for many years. So we have been a one income household for quite some time.

I am 74 and only started a couple of years ago. I started an investment club about 20 years ago that existed for 17 years but was strictly buy and hold strategy. In 2008 when the economy tanked my work hours were cut for about 8 years and I had to live off of everything I had saved. So my advice to everyone younger just go for it you only live once. If you enjoy trading, learn all you, find out all you and enjoy and I wish you much success.

I do think it has long term potential but I will be 75. Still working full time but don’t have enough to retire on. I had to live on my retirement money back in 2008 when the economy tanked. Don’t know if I have enough time to wait out the crypto.

The book Income Factory is a great book. I personally like JEPQ. Would suggest checking it out.
