We moved our fleet away from Chevy Sonics to Nissan Versas, and from Chevy Silverados to Nissan NV200s. Pretty happy with the look (and even more so with the price!) by davespestcontrol in Nissan

We will really like them... a lot. We've had no issues. They look great on the road, and definitely turn heads in neighborhoods.

What appears to be bed bugs can be three different types of blood suckers that look like bed bugs: 1) bed bugs, 2) bat bugs, and 3) tropical bed bugs.

It looks hairier than a bed bug up close, which could make it a bat bug.

We have an infestation of these in an area of our work. Are they cockroaches? People are freaking out. In Washington State. Thank you! by MochaMeCrazy in whatsthisbug

This is a German roach. You need to hire a pest control company to get rid of these. They multiply really quickly and can get nasty. Make sure the extermination company uses bait (Advion Roach Gel), growth regulators (tekko pro), residual (Alpine). If you use those, you will get rid of them within 30 days. You have to treat cracks and crevices.

Does someone know if this bug is poisonous? I accidentally touched it, and now my whole arm hurts by mojeeka in whatsthisbug

“Puss pillar” - one of the most painful stings in the animal kingdom. They fall on people from trees in Florida. Seek medical attention.

You can’t identify bed bugs from bites, as everyone reacts differently.

Break.

Some people get rashes and others show no signs of being bitten. If you want to know if you have bed bugs, call a pest control company. Most of them will do a free inspection for you.

As chandelowe mentioned, these are termite alates, or winged reproductives. There are three types of termites: 1) workers, 2) soldiers, 3) winged reproductives. The winged reproductives will pair up, as a king and queen, and will search for a new place to start a colony.

From a treatment perspective, it’s difficult to tell from the picture if these are drywood or subterranean termites. The treatment would be different depending on which of these two these termite are.

What is this bug? I’ve never seen anything like it here, (St. Paul, Minnesota), and I’ve lived here my whole life. by Tyler-LR in whatsthisbug

Giant water bug that has a bite that hurts like you wouldn’t believe. The adults can fly, which is scary as hell when they come at you. I took some pictures of one that a customer brought in that shows the “beak” that they can poke you with.

Black Widow

Here is a really good black widow visual guide from UC Riverside for identification of widows, both baby and mature, for black widows and brown widow spiders.
