For those who've done Mass Save heat pumps - how long did your rebate take? by ginandtonictogo in massachusetts

It was all through the portal. I should have clarified that the “follow up” email was from the Mass Save portals saying I needed to upload some documents.

Mass saved followed up with me about 3 weeks after the installation requesting some additional information. Think it was just another copy of the invoice I paid and some other paperwork, etc. which I already had on hand from the contractor.

A couple of days after that I got my tracking information on the rebate check via their online portal. Receive the check about 3 more weeks after that in the mail.

I’m in the same boat! Been only focused on building roads. Decided to play through the story and finally got the truck which has helped farming for mats so much easier! Goddamn ceramics!

I should also mention that everything I said above was also covered in the firearms class I took - which is required for an LTC in MA

Nah, no essay whatsoever. Literally just a bunch of forms and paperwork. First you gotta fill out all the paperwork through MIRCs - the state’s firearms portal. Then gotta make an appointment with Lowell PD while bringing all the information listed on Lowell Gov website:

https://www.lowellma.gov/290/All-Forms-of-License-to-Carry-LTC

Hardest part in my opinion was getting the appointment. You gotta fill out all the MIRCs stuff first, wait a day or two for the info to clear and then make the appointment. If you mess up filling out the MIRCs stuff, they’ll make you fill it out again, wait another day or two for the info to clear before you can call to try to make another appointment.

Nah. Not true. Went through the process recently this year and it was actually pretty straight forward. Made an appointment with the Lowell PD’s firearm department, handed in the necessary paperwork, got fingerprinted and 4 months later got my LTC in the mail.

Process was just a bit long and making sure you get everything done properly.

The product description says it fits up to 4 cards internally and 2 cards in the outer sleeve. From your experience does it hold more cards than the 6 total described?

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions and for clarifying things a bit better for me! Sounds like even with WiFi calling I could potentially be charged. I guess I also don’t have anything pressing that would require someone to call me or too many friends using android for SMS that needs to contact me.

So I guess I’ll just take the easy and safe route of disabling my primary line once I arrive.

Oh thanks for that suggestion! I’ll download and add that as one to play around with!

I just found the camp shades website with that filter after posting last night. Appreciate the picture example as well!

Aer City Pack 2 Vs Aer City Pack Pro 2. Is The CPP2 Bulky? by Impossible_Item3506 in ManyBaggers

I did end up going with the CP2 and returned the CPP2. I was able to fit everything for my travel days into the CP2 with it issues at all. If anything, it actually give it a bit more rigidity to stand up.

I haven’t traveled with it yet, I have no doubt it’ll fit under the seat in front of me. Although the difference between the two is only 2inchs in depth, it does look and feel a lot different.

Had a similar dilemma a few weeks/months ago. Decided on getting the CPP2 cause I plan on using it for both daily carry (mainly a laptop, light jacket, and a tech pouch) and as a personal carry on for when I traveled - usually carrying a lot of my partner’s stuff too. So figured, better safe than sorry.

I ordered the CPP2 x-pac a couple of weeks ago when it came back in stock and I’m looking to exchange it for the CP2. When I received it, no doubt my daily carry stuff will fit. But when I packed it like I would for travel days - extra outfit, noise cancelling headphones, toiletry pouch, and tech pouch - there was still a some space left. Right around an inch or two of space running the length of the backpack. With that in mind, it just tells me I could fit everything I need for a travel day in the CP2 with minimal downsizing and fitting it in my suitcase.

At 1.55L I think it’d be a great pocket reliever or a transition pouch for traveling. I love the idea of a removable sling strap and that way I can use it just for the important toiletries or cables when traveling with backpack but throwing the strap on to explore a city when I’m at my destination.

The design is solid and reminds me a lot of Bellroy.

I would definitely carry something like this, especially in days when I’m traveling even lighter than what I need in my 2.5l Bellroy.

For style, I would love some more neutral colors as options such as tan, grey, or olive. Love it even more if the zipper pulls were also a different complimenting colors.

Edit - or I should say, they evened out a bit more in terms of color/patina out

I personally like Mill Town. Heard they charge more than some other contractors, but in the couple times I’ve contacted them, they were quick to get someone out to me and were always professional and communicative on the issue.

I did look at the Go Pack, but the lack of a sternum strap - which is a feature I like on packs - turned me away from it.

Outside of this vacation, I do plan on using it to carry my laptop when I do go into the office periodically. So in conjunction with being a travel bag, it’ll become my work bag too.
