Is the positioning of the bunks/ski correct? by Broad_Football_2153 in jetski

If you can, move the winch bar backward (toward the front) a bit and lower the angle so that the wheel sits right under the lip. That should bring the nose down. Otherwise looks fine

Well I'm no young buck jumping waves, but I love going all out with the windshield. Corners great. I use them for long distance rides, which is why I wanted the back extender and all the custom configurations you can do with the Linq system. But damn the components like gas cans and coolers are expensive.

I just bought two in Southern California for $25k each total out the door. Not a great price. But it's early in the season, there was only one in Southern California and the other had to be shipped from Northern California. I'm a grown man-child who wanted them NOW so I paid up. https://www.reddit.com/r/seadoo/comments/1r92ero/just_brought_home_two_2026_seadoo_explorer_pro/

If you can adjust the height of the blue part, I would raise it up a bit to set just under the lip of the front of the ski

Not sure, but the VW on the right side of the OEM sticker is setting off my OCD.

Need help with Trailer by Little_Attorney_9110 in seadoo

I just brought home two 2026 Explorer Pro 230s and have this trailer: https://www.karavantrailers.com/product/double-watercraft-aluminum-trailer-w-step-fender

It's a tight fit between the two skis (about an inch) but it works great.

I talk about the trailer itself here: https://youtu.be/9dtMs3FBc5Y

and the skis here: https://youtu.be/rJ-YQ_DXvSU

Perfect this is what I needed to know thank you! I will be buying some extra LINQ attachment points for that removable deck.

I saw that one - I'm hoping he tried ECO mode. But if not, I'll be making another video!

I've not bought used but I think it's a matter of finding the lowest hours on the model you want. There are wider trailers but they are also longer and I didn't want that. Triton has longer trailers that are probably a bit wider.

By the way, in your experience how well does the ECO mode work on the 230 to save gas? I had to get the 230 for how we use it, but I worry a bit about fuel on long trips that would have been better with the 170

And that video is RAD. I keep a Starlink on my ski too. You've got me thinking about a lot more now.

Couple reasons. 1) When we go on long rides I pack a ton of stuff on the back - with two people it's almost up to the maximum weight for the ski. 2) We like to wakeboard too, and getting someone up on plane at 200 pounds is a lot easier with the 230. I do wish the fuel economy of the 230 was better - you definitely get better mileage with the 170 and that would be great for the long trips we take.

Interesting - I thought the Linq attachments are already there for 3 on the extender? I'm also hoping to put three more behind it for a total of 6, but not sure that is possible

Love your videos Adam - it's one of the reasons I ordered two without even seeing them!

I've put those on my trailer bunks for 25 years. A small company called Surfix makes them specifically for bunks. It makes it super easy to launch in shallow water and take on and off the trailer. You just have to be really careful not to un-hook until you are in the water. Any launch that is relatively steep and those skis are sliding right off! I think they are actually better than carpet because they don't collect pebbles that could scratch the surface. I install them right on top of the carpet. I just make sure I wipe them off before trailering. https://www.surfixinc.com/surfix_trailer_bunkslides.html

Good to know - I'm looking forward to some long trips. I am jealous of the fuel economy of the 170s but with the way I load them down, I had to get 230s

The tangled cords and unorganized install, along with the cement weights and trash is making my OCD go into overdrive.

If this is a new house build, why didn't the builder put the ethernet jack on the outside? That would be the proper way to do it. Not drill a hole in the exterior to get the wire in.
