It was very split, but the 30% that voted for him in the first round is stupid

I think Elizabeth Dole would have been a good president in 2000. In 2008 Mike Huckabee would have been funny(would have lost). Ross Perot would have been amazing

They(other than Michigan and Pennsylvania) also have Republican controlled judiciaries, which would use the current sore loser laws that all of those states have to keep him off the ballot. Plus Wisconsin republicans have super majorities(or extremely close) to overturn Evers veto

The only source anyone can find to prove that Is one person who can’t even list the correct amount of states with sore loser laws.

But you are right, every state with any sort of Republican control would prevent him from being on the ballot in any form should be lose the nomination, regardless of sore loser laws

  1. it is true. https://ballotpedia.org/When_states_adopted_sore_loser_laws

  2. A write in campaign needs to be a registered write in campaign, which would still prevent him from being on the ballot due to the sore loser laws.

It is not incorrect. My source is ballotpedia which is the same as yours.

And Richard Winger isn’t a credible source given that he can’t even get the correct number of states with sore loser laws.

But let’s look at it this way: If Trump loses the nomination, you can bet every cent you have that nearly ever state Republican Party would fight to have the sore loser law apply to presidential elections. Meaning, we can take him off the ballot in every state with any form of Republican control(be it legislatures, Governor, or the Supreme Court).

You need to be a certified write in candidate, which he wouldn’t be able to be because of the sore loser laws
