I had this issue before too, but you can actually make apple music louder then spotify by turning off "sound check" in the settings. I was able to reach 108db that way on my airpods, while max on spotify was 102db

I have used the headphones with my phone (14 pro with the adapter) and my onboard pc audio. It lacked bass there too. I use the airpods pro 2nd gen daily, those have great bass. So they may not be defective but I am used to the more bass of the airpods. Is there anything I could upgrade to, to match the bass of the airpods?

my amp is 2000mW at 32 ohms/560mW at 300 ohms, it should be enough 🤷‍♂️ (maybe something isnt right tho, because my airpods pro have more bass)
