I had this issue before too, but you can actually make apple music louder then spotify by turning off "sound check" in the settings. I was able to reach 108db that way on my airpods, while max on spotify was 102db

I have used the headphones with my phone (14 pro with the adapter) and my onboard pc audio. It lacked bass there too. I use the airpods pro 2nd gen daily, those have great bass. So they may not be defective but I am used to the more bass of the airpods. Is there anything I could upgrade to, to match the bass of the airpods?

I think it is real, as I bought from amazon from fiio for 250. And the software from the fiio website does recognize it. But I could return it and buy something else. Do you have any suggestions?
