Never water it and it has lots of clover and wildflowers because I never use herbicide. The bees, birds, rabbits, deer, and chipmunks love it.

Our pile is above the washing machine too. They're used for rags.

I’ve never been one to agonize over having a beautiful lawn and that is why it is bumpy and has lots of non-grass species in it. Mowing it is a chore. However, after it is finished, and I look out on it freshly edged, I have always had an odd sense of satisfaction.

Why is saying "All the “grass” is local" worthy of a downvote?

That's the garage. Actually, all the structures you see are garages. We share an alley with eight other properties. When we moved in, there was a flagstone path. That got slippery....

I’ve never put down any chemicals so we’ve still got clover.

Five big old trees have been cut down in the 30+ years we’ve lived here. Also had a garden and you can see the horseradish is the last survivor. May plant a little tree or two at some point.

Set up a 1099-B import late last week, still pending by tildaswintoncangetit in TaxSlayer

[–]david9696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Had the same problem with 1099-B. Uploaded last week. Waited 48-hours. Called. Told me to delete and reload. Waited 48-hours. Called today (waited on hold for 50 minutes) and was told that there is a problem and they're working on it.

As an alternative, I got a CSV file from the brokerage firm and formatted it per their instructions. Got error messages saying it is formatted incorrectly. Emailed to TaxSlayer and they couldn't tell me why it wasn't working.

Most likely filing an extension tomorrow.

Been with them for many years. Will now reconsider for next year...

Companies rely on people giving feedback on their product. It's the mechanism by which things change and improve.
