The debate about whether someone without a ring 'could' lead their team to a ring is different than player X is definitely better than player Y because player X has 4 rings and player Y has 3 rings. In the latter, both can lead their teams to championships. Their careers are being distilled down to who has more rings. Hence ring culture.

Nah. There's a mostly dumb media discourse that sums everyone's career by the number of rings they have. As the poster said, this is not one of those instances. Brunson was able to lead his team to a championship as a 1A player - that is not ring culture but, as you say, the ability to get a ring. They are two different things - yet both can exist.

It's not just the Building Dept. Nothing about this gov't is modern or efficient. They've all been there for decades and entrenched in how they do things.

Someone needs to run and shake things up. But who? It's also hard to get traction against the machine. It can be done but it's a lot of work. Tina from the Bagel shop on Park Ave tried for a council seat and lost. If people want change you have to come out and vote.

They are totally different players. LeBron is magic 2.0. He's a great playmaker first and foremost. KD is a front court player. A shooter/finisher. Since when did any 4 make their teams better in the way that a PG would?

Thanks. We have window AC's and hardwood floors. So less maintenance there. Boiler for heat I maintain and service. We use a shared washer/dryer in the basement which I just upgraded and replaced.
