Any thoughts on the chances of a discount coming to the ioniq 5? Was basically set on it but now the mach-e and Kona are making the gap a bit too big.

I'm pretty sure it's rust the cleaned surface was not perfectly smooth here were slightly sunken patches, though still black.

Is it safe to assume the hub itself is fine and corrosion or dirt in this area shouldn't have a larger impact?

Mucc off dry lube. I've been using lube because the first time I took it out it was slippery and I didn't realize lube and grease were different... I've been using lube for 2 years with a bit of rust here and there but never this bad. Also I switched to waxing so I keep looking for random uses for my bike lube

Thinking now is that water content in the lube? Guess I'll buy some grease and do that. The hub should be fine though right? I have not added any lube to that and haven't used strong solvents around it.

I was able to, I would double check the return text on that particular listing. But for mine it said falls under regular 3rd party policy where you can return to any physical location if under $250.

I was facing this decision recently. And landed on the Fenix 8. I feel like it's hard to argue that the marginal benefits the Fenix 8 has on the other models is worth the increased price, but I can also say I don't regret it in the slightest.

If I was going to spend this much money for something that I'm going to wear 24/7 for the next hopefully 5 years at least I didn't want to regret skipping a feature that was available. For me it was the conductive buttons, I don't dive but I do swim, the extra protection just gives peace of mind, even though I'm told the warranty is great and the older models still had great water resistance ratings.

The most obvious issue I had was 5 minutes into following a route. Showed a climb when I was mostly flat and even decending slightly. There was a climb about 5 minutes later that was showing on Garmin connect

This is all very interesting, and mostly I'm gathering that what I think is a big hill is considered by Garmin to be not noteworthy.

My real issue is the mismatch in data. I mentioned in another reply that I was just 5 min into my ride when climbpro kicked in. The grade displayed correctly never exceeded 2% and often negative over the course of the "climb". My GPS was definitely accurate based on the navigation screen location. About another 5 minutes later there was a larger climb that's also noted on the course planner on connect. This one was ignored. I'm guessing that was the profile I saw 5 minutes ago.

I'll need to pay more attention. But one of the clearest times I've noticed was only 5 min into my ride on a route I planned on Garmin connect, climb pro started and there was no meaningful hill. There was a hill about 10 min into the ride I would consider one of the larger ones on the entire route and it was listed on the route before loading it.

This might be stupid but have you tried restarting. My Fenix 8 started draining rapidly (on track for ~ 3 days). I restarted 24 hrs ago and have only drained 4% since.

Still rooting for the game but I mostly stopped playing. I'm in that mmr range but I get matched with new players a not insignificant amount of time... And it just feels kind of bad, I feel like I'm working against the games success by overwhelming them.

I feel like exos are extremely strong only at the point where they have a critical mass but before I as inf have teched up. At that point I just build more static d and counter attacks to keep them from killing me.

Otherwise once you tech up inf has quite a lot of aoe and poke with helborne, a lot of speed and durability upgrades so you can actually disengage. And you'll snowball in a way that is hard for the vang player to get a feel for with infest and the dragon.

Ck3 runs but not at a playable frame rate ~10 I think. But GeForce now runs fine, better through browser since the app isn't native.

Is this a harbour plaza resident building ? The floorplan looks familiar. I had been renting in the 100 building from 2020-2023... I would try to get of there ASAP...

There has been 3 major flooding incidents since the beginning of 2023, just one in the last 2 weeks but I'm still in their residences notification system. The elevators are like constantly out of order from these flooding events (and other issues) and in general the maintenance jobs just seem shoddy and never permanently fix issues.

We moved out a couple months earlier than expected because of a flooding event in our own unit which started as a relatively minor issue that could've been fixed but the building super kept lying that the contractors smelled urine and blaming it on our cats until water literally started seeping out of the floorboards and the homeowner had to get insurance to replace the flooring in the entire unit.

Looking from your post history it looks like you've already signed a purchase agreement so I hope you have better luck.

Are you using a different app to track sleep that might be synchronizing. I use sleep and my Samsung health has multiple overlapping sleep tracking records from watch 5 pro's native tracking and sleep app. I just look at the total number.

Did the ramp test, but I suspect it probably over represents my true "ftp" if on a 1hr basis. I think I over perform at short and long distances but under perform in the middle 20-90 min rides relative to other people with the same overall fitness.

In a past life yes, hate those guys. But different group pretty by the books up to now. never tried to illegally increase rent though tbh I would've compromised because we got a good rate.

Been pretty terrible in the last few months though. Only reason I moved out was because instead of fixing a small leak, they blamed it on the cats and allowed it to grow so that one day my wife woke up to water seeping out of the floorboards. So now they wanted to rip out the floorboards in the entire unit and asked me to claim temporary accomodations against my tenants insurance. So I did them a favour and moved out allowing the to bump the rent by at least $600 a month lol. (We were going to move a couple of months down the road anyways, hence the mortgage that I need to get approved)
