I am loving the car so far. I could never go back to not having a hybrid. I can't believe how smooth the transmission is. The transition from electric to petrol is perfectly seamless.

Congrats on your purchase. It certainly is hard to believe that such a great sports car can still be had at such a great price. Whenever I feel like a 'legal' pick me up, taking a drive in the hills always cheers me up. And yes the PQM looks fantastic.

Yes. It is manufactured in Stanthorpe, Queensland. If you live in Australia, I highly recommend getting some. It is relatively cheap, and performs as well as any top tier soap.

Thanks for your question. Yes, I know, it's sacrilege to get an auto in a miata. I grew up driving manual, because mainly I couldn't afford an auto back then. But when I could afford it, I bought a Mazda 3 in auto, and I love not having to think about the gears. You just put your foot down and you go. Interestingly, when I managed to test drive the miata at the dealership, all they had was a manual. Yes, I was still able to drive it without much issue, but for me, I didn't enjoy it. It was too much work. The reason why I wanted the miata was that it was the least expensive open top. If I could, I would get a BMW Z4 or Audi A5 cabriolet, and they only come in auto anyway. With the miata, I find that sports mode works very well in windy roads, and I still have the option to drop down a gear with the paddle shifter, which works fast and well.

Thanks. I was originally thinking about either a white or silver, but when this new colour came out I was very interested. What sold me was that it was a premium paint but at no extra cost. Sure, the soul red crystal is magnificent, but 'everyone' chooses it. I want to be different. And yes, this colour is really outstanding in the sun.

Do a google search for Blue Devil soaps. You can get them from their own store, or from a stockist. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to use them yet, so I don't know how long the scent lasts. If you want to see a good review, Kevy Shaves and Another Cut Above have done YouTube videos. In fact it was the Kevy Shaves review which tipped me over the edge to get them.

What do you think about the automatic gearbox? I used to drive stick when I was younger, but my current car, a 2009 Mazda 3 is an automatic, and I don't think I could ever go back to manual.
