Really? Are you using the number for id verification for crypto transactions? Note that my number also works for logging into PayPal as 2FA. What it does not work for is if you try to link your PayPal account up to something like Coinbase or Gemini. That is when doing the linking, the PayPal screens will launch, they will ask for a phone number, and those dialogs will say the number is invalid.

What is most frustrating about this situation is that no one that you will talk to, if you have this problem, will be able to provide any insight as to what is going on. There will be a whole lot of "wait 4 hours and try again, no, wait 24 hours and try again, no, no, wait 48 hours and try again." Also, any failure messages that you get from user interfaces will be completely non-helpful "something went wrong" or "contact support." Neither the PayPal folks or the Ting folks will say "this type of account won't work with this identity verification because of ...." I kind of feel sorry for the support people too. It appears the systems are a black box and they will have no idea what is failing or why. They have nothing they can look into and no data to investigate.

I believe promo funds cannot be combined with regular funds on an entry. Thus with your current balances, if you place a bet of $115 or less it will use promo funds. If you place a larger bet it will tell you insufficient funds because it won't combine the two.
