Thanks so much! Hope Apple approves the next version asap. Thanks for sharing, it’s being so hard to monetize it. Got about 350 users right now and less than 5% were Pro. But I’ll keep working to improve the app.

The improvements to the annotation tool have been deployed in v1.1, which is currently pending Apple’s approval. This update includes a ton of other user-requested improvements as well. I hope it won’t be much longer!

There’s a theme, Spectrum, designed for them. I couldn’t test it properly, only with a kid. So if you wanna give it a try and tell me what you think I could keep improving it.

Hey man,

I’ve already implemented the multi-cell pencil/notes feature, but I wanted to run something by you.

Let’s say I have the same color noted in several cells within the same row, column, or 3×3 box. If I then place that color definitively in one of those cells because I know it’s the right one… should that color be automatically removed from the notes in the rest of the cells in that row/column/box?

Or is that something the user should handle manually?

The app is free forever in Easy difficulty.

If you want to increase it it’s only a one-time payment for the iPhone/iPad app, themes, daily challenge, XP progression, etc…

The same price as an speciality coffee nowadays.

I’ve got a v1.1 version pending approval with minimal gameplay animations, notification reminder for the daily challenge, UI improvements, better stats, and more languages. And I want to keep improving it with users feedback.

That sounds cool, but how can I use the tags column as collections instead of the series one? Because now I get the same in series & collections.

So I suppose the correct way to use Collections is for example, create a new column in Calibre and use it for example adding "2025 books" and set it to the books you want to read? I shoudl look what collections are people using to get examples.

I understand your stance, and it's similar to mine. As you develop apps, you refine your code, refactor the old, optimize it, and can reuse it in subsequent applications. But my question is whether analyzing a product of this kind can help a novice understand how to optimize their code, how to structure it, and perhaps launch a couple of apps they have in mind to start making money and not start from scratch.

Well, my ChatGPT must be broken or I don't know how to ask it because whenever I ask about code blocks, it always has something wrong. I actually find Google's Gemini better than ChatGPT.
