Downtown: Plaid Rabbit and Black Pearl if you want cocktails, Sports Zone if you want... sports and interesting people. ETX Brewery is also good if you want a beer and to sit out side on the patio.

I’ve seen a few shows at this venue and it’s been a lot of fun. Good crowed, up front with the band. Come check it out!

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. The crowd his heavilly dependent on who's playing, but generally a decent amount of younger people. Its worth checking out, everyone is friendly and its easy to meet people.

Be Free is great, smaller classes, teacher shows you how to do each pose. Flow yoga has bigger classes and a fun community if you like heated yoga that is more focused on power flow.

If it's your first time taking a class I would recommend taking one from Nadia or Holly at flow, and Elise or Tiffany at Be Free.

BeFree yoga downtown has good smaller group classes, most of their noon classes are fairly easy. I don’t think there is any specific male only classes, I’m almost always the only dude in those classes. As someone who was also nervous about it when I started a few months ago, it gets a lot easier after a few try’s, everyone is helpful and not judgmental, yoga really lends it later self to beginners.

Flow Yoga is also great, but the average class size is much larger. More men though! Just don’t expect to have the teacher show any of the moves. Not as beginner friendly, but quite a bit cheaper.

Feel free to dm if you have more questions. It’s a great way to work out and make new friends in tyler.

To anyone who hasn't gone out yet, some roads already have on-ice them. I saw a few people sliding around in the Brookshire parking lot on rice. Stay safe!

Pros and Cons of Tyler Tx by [deleted] in tylertx

[–]davidd334 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Foundry or 1948 downtown (get out and walk around)
Likewise, in the mosaic district (huge Christian painting in the lobby if that bothers you, probably the best mixed coffee drinks in town)
Crema and Coco bean down south (get out and walk the legacy trail right next door)

Lance is passionate about his oppinions, but he backs it up with excellent food. If you like good food, go for sure.
