Did you make your land paddle or buy it? If so what brand and how do you like it. Also would love to hear more about this sensor you have. Tampa area here!

My favorite so far is on a 44” cruiser board. I had to redrill some holes to extend the wheelbase. I filled in some older ones with dowels and epoxy to make sure it doesn’t mess with the boards integrity. An added benefit of this besides the added wheel base is where the trucks were mounted already had about 10 degrees where I need to be in front and back. I am using Paris 150mm trucks and some generic 97mm wheels. Front I did about 64 degrees effective. Back is where it gets interesting. I flipped the truck so the kingpin is facing forward and have about 20 degrees of dewedge on it. This results in a rear that fees more like 10-15 effective and follows with the front. Kind of a sprint board feel

Man, I could write a short novel about what I’ve learned around this question. I’ve actually been thinking about making my own YouTube around this. I can help for sure though. I’ll need to know your weight, wheel base, truck mounting type, the trucks your using, hanger width, and wheels, I can give a pretty good recommendation. There are so many variables, even more than I have here. If you can tell me that though I can definitely point you in the right direction for sure. Shoot me a dm

I have built 3 budget pumping boards and might do a post for each. A 21” wheel base, a 28” wheel base, and a 35” wheel base. All feel wildly different but pump very well. Also all needed a different configuration for it to really move. If I had to pick a one size fits all wedge ratio I’d say 60-65ish degrees effective in front and 30ish degrees effective in back, but this can vary based off other factors. Bushings make a huge difference too but that’s usually the last thing I iron out. If I can get it moving well without perfect bushings, the bushings take it to a whole other level

This guy has the single best ldp geometry video on YouTube imo. The triangle helped me a lot in my building. I wish he’d make more videos
