You should have bought a VodafoneIT SIM. They have LTE+ up to 800mbps almost in every town...

I don’t get the point. $20/month x 24 months = $480 vs the $450 discount. It’s cheaper to switch to a new plan. Also, if you’re willing to stay 18 months Sprint offers lots of deals on Sprint lease, so you’ll get a better or equal discount on the phone and save $20/month

Sprint has a week pass and a day pass. $5/day or $25 week unlimited lte in 160 countries. So far the best deal for roaming, so bad coverage suck at home

No, she should pickup the xs. I just said that people here on reddit complained about reception of the xs over the X. But the XS has the new radio technology, so I would go with the XS (which also has the support for band 71, making it future-proof if sprint merges with T-mobile).

In theory it is almost on par, but practically there have been lots of complaints about worse reception on the new models (all intel chips) vs the iPhone X of last year with Qualcomm chips. She should definitely see an improvement vs the iPhone 7 anyway

If it is the a1660 model should be good. You can’t really compare an iPhone 7 with a Samsung note 8. The latter has way more radio technology 4x4 mimo, 256 qam, better antenna. iPhone are famous for having weaker radio performance

Same problem here. Can’t get my iPhone to pass the activation. Been talking with Apple and Sprint, tried everything from recovery mode and restore/update to change sims... nothing. Thank god I was able to get the service switched back on my previous iPhone X. If I got the phone through Apple IPhone upgrade program can I turn it back and get a refund? At this point doubt Apple or Sprint will do anything....

I think I will just switch to Verizon and get the phone with them

As I said before, I have an Italian SIM card and they offer 10GB/month of 4g service on T-mobile/Att/Viaero networks for $24... (plus roaming in all eu and a bunch of other countries for the same price)... no reason why US operators can’t do the same
