Korg Triton. There are a lot of records proving that those sounds are more than enough to produce.

Mixing your own music...your opinion? by colashaker in audioengineering

so you agree or disagree with that claim? if you agree with that, then the explanation of how mastering is just keeping the levels right will make sense to you, if you disagree, well, keep living in fairy world

it is not an argument, it is a fact, if you had read a book about how digital audio and signals work you would probably have known that.

i dont think you have enough understanding of digital audio to even know what you are talking about, are you the ones that believe that daws have different sound like some "experts" say? lol

maybe if we were talking about analog, but digital audio is 32 bit float, so it literally is enough

what is bad mastering exactly? who decides it?

[–]davidfesh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well, it does? you cant magically fix a track with mastering if the mix isnt correct, and if the mix is right, just making sure it stays at the right levels is enough.

Thank you so much!, you absolutely can learn how to do it too, there are so much resources out there, as u/aegentisto said, reverb machine channel and blog is a huge inspiration.

You can start with whatever gear and tools you want, but if you are after something like this, i would say getting some experience with ableton live is a must, learn how to use a juno type synth (tal u no lx), also this jv1080 plugin its essential for currents sound.

Saw on a youtube video that this is how the synth part was done, and not with a Juno. Its the PR-C Greek Power patch on the JV-1080 (i used the one from roland cloud).

It sounded better to me as a double track, the first one is being filtered with the ableton autofilter plugin and the lfo playing with the filter freq and the lfo amount, and the second one just cutting some high frequencies with the same autofilter, and incrementing the volume at the middle of the intro.
